Paypal Limited

hey guys..

so I created a paypal account a week ago and I received a payment of $40 a few days ago from a friend. I tried to buy some rsgp through PA and Paypal but I always get a error saying : Please add more funds to your paypal account before sending more money. From PA , My order automatically cancles when I try to pay.

A few hours ago I received a email from paypal saying that they have limited my account and I need to provide some information to get it back to normal. The problem is that I dont have a credit card or bank account and my paypal name is fake.. so I cant provide name proof.. I dont know what to do now.. I have $40 in my paypal and I cant send or receive money..What should I do?

 

You can't do anything. Either make a new account in your parents/siblings name, and provide their ID/bank statement, and your account will be verified and good to go. Having a fake account generally gets limited very fast once funds are involved, and hence ID/bank statement are needed to verify that it's a legitimate account.

By giving a fake name, you just screwed yourself. Nothing you can do about the money in it. Make a new legit account with your name or your parent's.

In hong kong they have prepaid credit cards right? Just link one of those up and you should be good to go. You should look into it more but that should solve your problem.

Side note: If you dont have a credit card your probably under 18, if you dont have a bank account you MUST BE VERY YOUNG!(15 or under) if not.. "face palm"

 

never heard of prepaid cards in hk.. Where can i buy em , any idea?

 

Even if you have a bank account or a debit card, if you enable it to your paypal and the name doesn't match up perfectly or the DOB assigned to the bank they limit your account temporarily, and you have to go through a load of stuff to get it unlocked, and if the bank account is under 18 they lock the PP's funds down regardless.
