Gold prices / positive sign for rs future?

Hello,
As a current runescape buyer and seller of gold I have noticed that the prices of rsgp have steadily increased over the past 3 weeks. Market of rsgp was at a all time low around beginning of January @ around 24-25 cents per mill. Currently gold is on the rise and has hit the 35-38 cent mark in 3 weeks. Nearly rising by 35 percent. May be a bit of a risk but investing irl money long term into rsgp might not be a bad idea. I bought mills as soon as jägex release their note to start listening to the rs community. Bought at .28 per mill 2b for 560 $ hoping to double my money. We will see

 

Lol I woudnt gamble with that much money becaquse jagex hardly ever really listen I doubt they will bring it completely back just tweak eoc abit

 

I spent around $400 on mills at .29 when I wanted to start my own gambling clan and never got around to it.

Accidentally making profit is a wonderful thing.

Gold isn't 35-38 cents, even some o the big boys sell for like .34

 

Prices are increasing slowly. It's a fact. Wether or not they will come to a hault and drop is yet to be foreseen.

 

I think they will remain at .30/m or go to .40/m max.

 

RSGP price isn't going to rise unless RS do a huge update that raises prices, or all the gold mass suppliers put their prices up. Maybe banning inactive accounts or banning a lot of dice hosts, idk.

gold prices go up and down, only thing that will keep the prices down are mostly bots

 

Runescape gold is a pretty general topic. This thread is discussions gp prices but is not limited. Also discussing runescapes future from an economic standpoint. Requesting this not be moved. Its a broad general topic.

 

What if they don't change runescape but just add different servers like rsc and your money is stuck on the eoc server. You mightve just wasted 560$

 

I have a full time job and make decent money. I was just hoping to come Out ahead . I still play runescape so it's a good investment by my standards.You're right it's a risk though.

 

They are release 2 skills this year I believe it will help prices.

 

how are skill releasing helping the price

GP prices will not magicly go up

how more gold will be produced, how less it will be

you just make no sense at all

 

I wouldn't invest money in RSGP because when you come to sell to someone preferably trusted which will lower the amount you get per mill unless you want to get charged back assuming you're using paypal.

 

Player auctions is a place that allows you to sell money 100% secure.

 

I doubt you will double your money, but you'll at least make some profit.

 

When Jagex announce they will never return the old combat system on the 20th gold will hit the floor.

 

Not really. There will be demand for gp to buy back gear etc.
