Spam Timer

Hello all I am suggesting that we decrease the spam report timer from 60 seconds down to 30 seconds. Reporting spam is just benefiting the site and I feel like you shouldn't have to wait longer to report a spam message then you should to make a post. So I propose we drop it down to 30 seconds for reporting a spam post.

Let me know what you guys think?

 

Support, there's no reason to make people wait to report spammers. Infact, making people wait may even discourage them from reporting spam.

 

I think its related to the thread creation timer as when you report a post you are creating a thread in the report a spammer section.

Its at 60 seconds because people tend to flood it if its any shorter. It was 5 minutes years ago.

I think 60 seconds is fine to be honest.

 

The timer is a global cooldown that we can't change for an individual section. Denied.
