Seriously Biased, not saying this just because I lost, although it is a major part

All staff defend their own and it is hard to not be biased, especially since I have vaded like 50 times so it makes staff not look to highly of me

In big cases such as these there should be community input, you can't just have everything in the staff lounge and then tell people that case solved, x has won. People have a right to know

And just to be clear, there are double standards, because I got someone banned for the exact same thing (Paypal Fraud)

He was taking advantage of my greed for more money, and technically Dave would be the only one sent to jail as of 9/2/2013 As I have paid my debt to paypal ($1100) and my old paypal account is now even​

 

From what I can see only Corey was involved in this. Now I don't have anything against Corey, but I think some other staff should look at it as well if they haven't already, second/third opinions are good. Hell even ask Richard to look at it like he did with the Corey vs Grave thing.

 

Apparently it was posted in the USL, but Richard also doesn't like me. He ip-banned me once lol

Thats why I said get the community involved, seriously just put a poll up, should dave pay me or not and then close it in like a week

 

The thing with the community doing it is it could be biased. But then again so could the staff's views, although I'd say staff are less likely to be biased. Seeing the USL discussion would be nice, although I doubt we'll ever see it.

I think Richard should at least take a look at it, regardless of whether he likes you or not.

Personally, I just think Dave doesn't have the money but at the same time doesn't want to get banned/lose his staff position. It does look a bit like he took advantage of you Stui.

Stui, I like you and we used to be friends and then you decided to vade a lot and I have a hard time supporting you even though I think your original ban reason is complete bull.

I have to agree to a certain extent though, there are a lot of things the staff will 'hide' if you will. There was a huge rigamarole with Kina when he was hacked and when he had a bunch of orders he either didn't do or half did and it all went to the SL and we were just told it was being discussed in the SL. The same thing with any other case involving a member who has a name in the market. I don't think it's right to hide a case because it might injure their business or because they're a staffer (especially if they're a staffer. It looks really fishy), personally. I feel if you are going to do that for one e-business owner you should do it for them all. Everyone should be treated equally and nothing (sans personal information) should be hidden from the public.

Either way, I don't know anything about this case personally.

 

I know, they shouldn't be biased though. A good staff member is someone who doesn't hold this member over that member and so on.

A community poll/discussion could prove to be useful, but I'm not sure that'll be authorised.

 

Hardly (but somewhat). We tell off our staff a lot, especially sectionals.

 

Yea I know, but as you said. You shouldn't hide stuff because it may damage their buisness, if they take it to the SL they aren't fucking around. You don't put stuff that has no case in there, So they have obviusly done something and it doesn't matter if it damages their business

The community loves disagreeing with the staff.

 

That's because we all have our opinion. If they staff showed their decision making process then maybe there would be less of it

 

Sometimes this is true, but generally it's because the staff like to try and hide everything.

 

Exactly, you can't hide stuff and expect everyone to trust you. We use an on line forum of course we have conspiracy theories

What I personally used to look for are the thought processes, if you can come to a valid conclusion from the evidence given then I support the descison, if you just say "lol no I hate that kid he is guilty" (not exact words obvis)

 

There wasn't that much to Kina's other than he had been hacked and he had to pay a few people back. However there was this one person who he had to pay back who had DDoSed his website and hacked him which was fucking retarded. I had that decision changed without even being staff.

And then never heard from again

 

He ended up refunding that user, although it was justified.

 

As said i said in the above posts, the only reason the community distrusts scam reports in the staff lounge is because we don't see any of the thought process

 

That's mainly because of personal information. Although it isn't exactly hard to make a copy of the thread but blank out the personal info on the images. The community seeing it might just start an argument or their views may not come in line with the staffs.

At the end of the day, the staff's decision is final.
