Donating Via Australian Bank Transfer

Is there any way to donate to Sythe through a bank transfer from Australia? The only similar service I can see being offered is Fendle's UK bank transfer, but even for something like $25 donor, I'd end up paying an additional 200% due to the fees for an international transfer. I can't link my account to my PayPal for various reasons, so is there some other way I can do this?

 

Find someone trusted who is from Australia, doesn't have to be a bond holder and send them money and they can donate in your name for you.

 

Anybody come to mind that fits that criteria for you?

 

You can always buy RSGP and do it that way.

 

Only way I have to buy RSGP is through bank transfer, and if I send that payment overseas, I'd incur about $50 in international transfer fees, plus the value of the donation itself, unless I found a trusted Australian seller.

 

Brendan could do it. He's trusted and is honestly an awesome guy. I'll link him the thread. It would be good to have an Australia bond holder for Sythe.org, especially as the owner of the site is in Australia.

 

I haven't seen Brendan around in ages, is he still active? We do need an Aussie bond holder, it's a shame Richard can't accept straight payments rather than going through Matthew and the donation system

Australia* I did, but he said his Paypal was empty so he couldn't. I'm willing to pay $60 for a $50 donation.

 

He drops in now and then. He's just not posting. He is around just has exams at the moment.

How do you intend to pay the user who is donating for you? If its PayPal I could do it for you also, though I'm unsure on the PayPal conversion fees from Pounds Sterling --> Australian Dollars.

 

Reason I'm looking for an Australian, is that I would be paying via a bank wire/transfer. This is free in Australia, but if I sent it to somebody from a different country, I would incur fees of $40+, as well as there being about a 72 hour delay of payment.

 

Whilst I would still like to know if there are people able to handle this for future reference, I have managed to buy RSGP from an Australian seller, and plan on donating with that.

But yeah, would probably take me about 3 days to get money into the paypal if its not instant but meh.
