Donation Bonds

As per the suggestion being approved, none of the donation threads are yet to update their current bond, or even include an outstanding one.

Perhaps staff could close the threads that don't mention the bond at current (always at current), and put up a sticky stating that the current bond(s) must be stated.

Edit: the bond stated should be verified as legitimate. Not saying anyone handling donations is sketchy, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

 

This is what's needed, if they don't state their bond they should be locked. If Matthew ever opens up another spot for a bond holder which hopefully ill be filling, (he's not accepting anymore yet), I'd personally push for bond prices to be stated and fairer prices, dave currently profits around 100m per $100 as the rates .2/m, which ok, he will want to profit from his time, but I feel sorry for the donors.

 

I don't make anything really from my bond, since I lowered the prices. They are a few pence over to protect myself from exchange rates, and anything else. What do I need to do to my thread as I am unaware.

 

This is NOT needed whatsoever. I only upload my bond $ when somebody wants to donate as it is a near-instant upload. No need for this.

 

What are they asking us to do exactly.

 

Put how much we have in our bonds on our threads. Pointless tbh.

 

Oh, well when I get payments via UK Bank Transfer I just upload them instantly to my bond and process their donation. I never really keep funds in my bond, as I have no need.

 

Thats exactly what i do, for which i believe this is a pointless suggestion to make seller.

 

It's better, lets say someone wants to donate $300, if you only actually have $120 in your bond then you shouldn't be able to take the donation.

 

It takes 2 seconds to upload additional funds to your bond.

Which is why i dont post how much i have because its pretty much unlimited...

They wanna donate $100, i can do that.. Etc.

 

I haven't been active as of late in processing, but ^ that exactly.

 

What i want to know is how this even got approved. OP clearly has no idea about donations. But if i have to; i will post how much i have in my bond.

 

It wasn't exactly "Approved". It was more of a guideline.

 

Hmmmm I guess getting approved to get a bond holder seems pretty easy. I should just do it for people and not have the annoyance of people saying but you're not a bond holder.

If you mean you'd like to become a bond holder, matthew says he's not having anymore at the moment as there's like 8, he's waiting for a while.

 

Exactly my thoughts, I could be at $0 and then put $200 if someone wants to donate $200.

It's stupid.

 

You have donated over 4000 USD for people since you had your bond, pretty much proof its fine as it is.

 

Over $5500, I don't need to update no thread. I won't do it.
