Pre EOC ?

I do Slayer, so PvM has actually been alright with EoC, and I do a fair bit of Dungeoneering as well, so I'm not affected by the PKing death.

 

That's insane, IMO slayer is horrendous, the way you have to use a certain combat style to kill a task is just too much lol.

 

Really, people think it will be awesome to have rs in 2006 back.
But believe me, most of them will be like 'omg, yeeey, finally, I'm so happy, I used to love this game'.
But then, after a month or two they'll all be like 'This game sucks, so boring, nothing new, bad gfx, etc.'.
Everyone just wants it back for the nostalgia.
Do you really want to play the old rs?
Go play rsc or some shitty rsps.

I myself prefer the old combat system over the new one.
I think rs will be changed back to what it once was.
Or they will atleast make special servers for it =p

Everyone talks about wanting an unchanged Runescape 2006 unchanged server.
I would like it if we reverted back to the earliest stage of rs, and began anew.

 

Are you serious, go to Runescape classic and play that then lol.
I doubt you'd last 5 mins.

Jagex never learns from their mistakes. None of their updates are ever wholly retracted. They figure that because they put the time in to create the update, it doesn't matter if it is well-received or not.

Like it or not, EOC is staying.

 

You don't even think it's a possibility that they will bring back pre EOC servers, keeping EOC services active at the same time?

 

lol and I assume that bigger and better things fall under the line of

world of shitcraft or one of the other 5 garbage games being promoted on this site? plain and simple mmo's as a whole suck nowadays all are bland cheap immitations of each other. the few "good" mmo's that are out are well kept secrets most of which sythe never has a the privilege to be graced by.

 

I'll be honest...I didn't want EOC at all before it came out, when EOC came out, I quit for about a month then returned and said "why not just try it?" Well, I did...I enjoyed it the first few days then I started getting real bored and annoyed at clicking the same stupid functions non-stop. I'd like the old game before EOC, it was much better.

 

Yeah pretty much same story with me man. At least we can say we tried it.

 

I dont mind if they remove eoc it still wont make me come back but i would like to see servers where everyone starts from zero again

 

Starting from zero would be ridiculous lol, they should just remove items which are new from old servers. I think they should keep dungeoneering in there. Anyone agree?

 

I don't think jagex will change back atm.

I don't understand what goes through the mind of jagex they know less people are playing. They know they aint making as much money but yet they wont change it back.

its like they find it hard to admit to mistakes and even when they do they don't do nothing to change it
