The most hated family in America.

Hello all,

I am sure many of you have seen this documentary and if you haven't it is definitely worth watching if you are interested in this sort of topic.

My questions for discussion are:

- What do you think makes people think/act like this ?
- What would you 'label' these people ? (Insane, brainwashed, extremists ? etc)
- What are your overall views on it all ?

These are just cultists, the mom (is apparently) charismatic (not so charismatic that she can deceive many outside her family though) and convincing people she is right and thats that. Extremists may be a more proper title for these guys since they arent so radical in their christian belief and more so in their bigotry.

Either way its a horrible thing they are doing, im not too keen on gay marriage and the war but hey i dont like mayo either. I dont think people have any more right to people who to marry than i do to tell them what to have on their sandwiches. Its really sad they are deluding their children this way...

not sure if anyone heard about the anon attacks against them. it really warmed my heart(honestly) when i saw the internet being used in such a smart, informed manner.

these people are insane. im not gay. not even a little bit. i dont have any gay friends, not one. but...i would never, NEVER in a million years be prejudiced against someone for being gay. they cant control it. its one of the last acceptable forms of rascism in the us. the fact that gay marriage is illegal blows my mind..but, thats a whole nother' topic.

these people are the fucking scourge of the earth. i dont want them in america. i believe in free speech but the things they do are fucking hate crimes. not only that, but to BLINDLY follow the bible like that...it just makes no sense. i believe in another power...not sure which one. they believe in a book written during the same time stoning a woman for getting pregnant out of wedlock was perfectly ok, and follow it to a point. 99.99999% of modern christians hate these people, and rightly so.

however..i cant blame the kids that grew up doing this. they knew no better. its just like a christian saying some kid in south american tribe with no access to christianity is going to hell for not worshiping jesus...like how the fuck does that make sense?!?!?!?

 

There's no words to describe the insanity within these people. I think it's just attention seeking. They love it. It's written all over their insane faces. I'm sure there's some little voice in her head telling her what rules to follow, and what should be hated or not. Serious psych evaluation is needed.

 

I watched this documentary a while ago. It's sad to see how some people turn out this way, and somewhat sickening at the same time.

So sickening to watch these kind of documentaries. What family in the right state of mind would put their children in harms way with their message of hate? I personally don't support any of their beliefs. These people are sick in the head and its so hard to believe people could go to these extreme measures.

^ They will say no because they are following what "god" wants them really to do. The leader of their church claims that he is a prophet chosen by God "to preach his message of hate". Insanity stamped all over it.

Kids: Brainwashed lol, they think this is the right way
Elders: Mental lol xD

People who stand up against what society tells us is right, usually get looked at in a weird way. On one side, nature = male + female. But on the other, you should still be able to decide who you live with, it's 2013, get over it. Just leave out the gay accents, those arent "natural" to gay ppl lol they develop/make it themselves.

As long as they mind their own business I'm cool with everything. Just don't involve ''regular'' people into your ''religion''...

 

What they do is pretty sick but. Its not like anyone in there right mind is gunna join there little cult. Let them hate. They have a right to hate, just don't commit any crimes.

 

Unfortunatley, id call them brainwashed extremists. It is bascialy the same as mass extremist cults, such as the Peoples Temple e.t.c. "although WBC wouldn't commit suicide".

Although they said they would protest the Sandy Hook funerals, loads of people made sure they couldn't
