Infractions,

Say if I had 5 and got banned for 3 days then I come back and I then loose 1 point which makes it 4 and I get a infraction again to make it 5 will I get banned or can I get 7 which means a 2 week ban.

 

If you are banned for 3 days, then come back and receive another infraction after one expires, then you will be banned again for 3 days. Refer to the points counter at the top right of the infraction bar, it bans based on how many points you have. 5 = 3 days. 7 = 7 days. 10 = 14 days.

 

Oh, that's lame. I'd prefer to have 5 to be honest, then if I accidentally post something that's worthy of a infraction I still have 1 point.

 

You can attempt to dispute an infraction if you feel its unwarranted or if you'd like to see it reversed. Its not hard to post without getting infracted. All it takes is a little common sense.

 

I don't think infractions that you dispute will be reversed, I mean the mods are pretty lenient when it comes to infractions and if you complain about them they will blast your ass because if you are infracted most likely your in the wrong.

 

When I try dispute em I never get a reply via PM anyway so I don't bother lol.

 

I've had most of my infractions reversed. The only one that I haven't had reversed for the first time in ages wasn't warranted anyway, however the whole staff agreed on it so there wasn't really anything I could do with that one. If you're polite and explain yourself then you may get it reversed. Some mods are more lenient than others.

Strange. They should reply to you whether or not they decide to reverse it. They as staff members should reply to your PMs provided they're not troll PMs or anything. If you have no luck then try an upper member of the staff and state you had no reply when you tried to dispute it.

 

Ye the new staff is pretty fast at replying to PM's ive notices that lately there swift at a lot of things so it surprises me that you don't get a response within 5 minutes of any of them except for the admins, NANO and FireZ usually respond pretty fast too.

 

Just about all the admins are in full time work, plus they of all the staff probably get the most PMs off users. I agree that the new staff are very active and have a very fast response time to PMs.
