My Jagex-test.

So, I am a legit player on my main, I dont/haven't botted. I get tired of seeing 50k bots in the game, and wonder "why dont they get banned? it's so obvious."

So I decided to do a Jagex test. I made a free-to-play account, and I'm going to run a bot on it 24/7 until it gets banned/reset and see how long it takes. Im on 22 hours right now.

 

I've gone over 150 hours with no breaks, but lost interest. Account got stuck in a random, banned a month or so later.

 

It's a shame you didn't do it now that randoms don't exist, would have been great to see.

I look forward to seeing how long you get, what are you botting may I ask?

 

I've botted probably over 1000 hours.... only 1 account was reset back 3 levels.. lol

Right now woodcutting/firemaking. If/when i get 99, I'll switch to fishing/cooking, mining/smithing ect.

 

If you go all the way to even 1 99 on a f2p account i'll be impressed.

Me too. Banning an account on f2p seems more likely to me, because Jagex isn't losing anything. Whereas if they ban a member, they're losing revenue.

 

Most defiantly haha. And just for the sheer fact that it will take you forever to get a 99 in f2p.

 

Lol true! With bonfires, Firemaking won't take long at all. But woodcutting.. quite a bit. I'm only getting 25k/hr at willows right now. So thats 400+ hours.

 

I tried the same before, but got bored. The account has like 1500 total now, didn't get banned either.

Well I've botted like 1.5k hours on my main no result. I've botted on friend's acc etc, I think easily 2.5k hrs in total

 

That's quite a bit o.o
And you haven't gotten banned? Training in members, that amount of botting should have easily been a max cape.

So I would say it's fairly easy. Also botted an army of gold-farming accounts 24/7 for months....

 

That's a members account. Much easier to avoid ban.

 

botted over a dozen woodcutters to 99, botting as often as was possible while randoms still existed, only one got banned.

imo you might as well just 24/7 him at yews and try make bank. Getting various 99's seems pointless unless you plan to sell it.
That being said, ill be checking back- I wonder how long it will take.

 

I've always wanted to try this. Kind of curious house long it will take. What are you bottling?
