I really hope that new servers will be created with the old combat system and stuff. If they can't get 2006 at least get 2008 back.

I didn't think of that one! I guess it may come under 'Yes, and I want it to come back' because that coming back does not void the EOC servers, it just adds an option

Really sucks, bringing older servers back would be sure to attract the attention of great hybrids and clans that used to enjoy the old rs.
Thus increasing Jagex's revenue.

No, but I hope they do.

I personally would still play the EoC servers, because I prefer it to normal combat, but I want old servers to be back aswell purely so the community grows again, older players come back and it brings back nostalgia. A 2006 age server would be sweet aswell, but I can't see that anytime soon.

 

To be honest I think the majority of the people demanding 2006 servers would not even like to play it anymore because of the huge step backwards.
But a few years back would be great. Am pretty surprised that you prefer the EOC combat to the old combat. What do you do in runescape (combat wise) ?

 

99% of people from pre 2006 either sold their accounts/banned/hacked. If people aren't given the chance to reclaim their accounts or continue from where they left off, I can't see any old players willing to come and slave away all over again; myself included.
