Names sales time limit

This isn't fair. I think that there should be a 2 x 28 day xfer barrier, and after that they can't claim that the account has been recovered, as it keeps the sellers safe, as a lot of names are sniped. If the name is sold as RFT, then it should only be 28 days.

it takes 2x28 days to xfer; as most names here aren't rft; therefore it must undergo 2-name changes...

I meant 2 28 day periods, changed the op :3. If they are sold as RFT only 28 days insurance should be covered.

 

nobody does it on exactly the 28th day; due to sniping (if its especially rare). its kinda an invalid point. people wait to xfer it so its not on the 28th day.

 

What if it was the first 35 days then? We need to have it a reasonable amount so that sellers are protected, as it could really cost us.

 

I'd support 35 days/68 if not rft. 1 week over rft is plenty of time to get it transferred.

Denied. In situations like this, you should always discuss with each other whats going to happen/who is responsible if the name does end up getting sniped.
