Allow Smilies in the Spam Forum

Apparently they were removed in 08 or around that time by Matthew as they could be used to flood the forum.

About the only place I want to use smilies in is the spam forum or donor lounge, and as I already can in the donor lounge it's annoying that I can't in the spam forum.

This isn't a major thing but it would be a nice change.

If someone wants to flood the spam forum, they will do it with or without smilies.

 

No support it will just be used to flood the forum again. There are about 50 other things matthew could spend time coding that would be more beneficial then this.

Mass Spamming in the spam forum and mass grave digging and flooding threads is agaisnt the rules so; no. Not happening.

 

Of course it is against the rules but I don't see how that is relevant. It's not like someone will be like "oh there are smilies, I suddenly have an urge to flood threads," it will happen regardless of there being smilies or not - they could just post an image of a smilie or an annoying gif, etc.

 

I support this but I doubt it would happen there is nothing more aggravating that a flood of smiles. OOOH that shit is agitating only if ignorant people can actually learn when and how to use them it might stand a fighting chance.

 

Would be good, depending on what the smilies look like.

 

They'd just be the ones that are available in the other forums.

Support, flooding isn't allowed anyway so people who do it will just get infracted / forumbanned.

 

Support, I don't see any harm in having them. As said above, if someone's intentions are to flood it then they don't need them to do so.

No support bad idea will be full of spam, there's not need for smiles.

 

... It's the spam forum so it is full of spam regardless of there being smilies or not.

Then why did they remove them in the first place? If they removed them it makes me think there was originally a problem why ells would they have removed them?

 

no support, rules arn't even enforced in spam forum, when mods start enforcing the rules, then bring this back up
