Should I come back to runescape?

I have been away from runescape for a little over three years now, I have logged in probably like twice to three times a year since being away so I'm aware how much the game has changed.

Is it worth coming back to play?

 

If they put back regular combat, yes.

 

Not just the game has changed tremendously, the economy and community has too.

I vote yes - You should give it a chance. You may like the newer RuneScape better, or just find playing it as enjoyable as before, or you may hate it.

Regardless of the outcome, you'll never know until you try playing again.

 

Agreed, give it a go because there's virtually nothing you can lose unless you plan to bot if you return!

 

If you're after the literal Runescape, then no. If you're after something more developed such as WoW then yes. The game is nothing as it was 3 years ago.

 

I wouldn't personally recommend it. But some people do grow to love it.

 

The only person that can make this decision is you. Jump in and test the water, if you don't like it, noone will force you to stay.

 

Yes, you should go back because if everybody leaves the gold market will die.
But for fun? no i don't think Runescape is much fun anymore.

No. If you managed to quit for 3 years you shouldn't get back to it, it's not worth it.

 

I logged on today and messed around a little I got bored fast. What's fun to do in game now and what account should I pla on? A main pure or what?

 

I would say a main. With the new combat system, pures are kind of worthless.

As for fun things to do - Barrows got buffed with some new items, you could try that out. And if you need an introduction to the combat system, there's the combat academy. Dominion tower located in the desert is pretty fun - you re-beat all the monsters you have defeated in the quests you've completed.

I dont know if it is worth coming back to it for you. I would suggest trying it out a bit and seeing for yourself.

 

Its changed a lot. But I still play because I never really did much combat, but a lot of people have quit due to the new eoc update because I screwed up combat.

 

This depends on if you like the new graphics and stuff which have been put into the game.. i Still play it, love construction ;D Try it out, Still a good game

 

they might be bringing out pre-eoc. so i'd wait and see what happens.

 

Yeah, come back. You can get used to the EoC, it's just people aren't willing to give it a chance.

 

I think it is more of a question : what hasn't changed.
It's a completely different game now, I guess you just gotta get used to it and take it for what it is. A profitable organisation.
