    I've got a sony bluetooth radio in my van, and it's brilliant. However, steering wheel controls are a waste of time, had them in a few cars and they're rather tacky, it's cheaper just to press the next button.

    just go with it i reckon and be done with it, installing steroes are a pain in the ass, so make sure you get a good one and do it once for a few years

    Oh so it's an adapter kit type of thing? Can't you just shred the wires back and re-solder them on? That's what I had to do for my aerial and radio receptors.
