Question about irl safety.

I'm trying to buy some gold from RSUltimate, great service so far.

I just have one question about their requirements.

I have provided them my facebook, mobile phone number, address, credit card details and now they are asking for photo ID such as drivers license. They say they need it to stop chargebacks which is understandable.

I am just wondering is it actually safe for this company to hold all of that information about me. It seems like a hell of a lot. Especially considering they will have the photo as well. Not only in regards RS account safety but for things like credit card fraud.

I'm just being extra careful as the only people I've known before to ask for so much information is the cops or my bank!

 

RSU are safe, your info is safe. There's nothing to worry about. They take scamming and chargebacks very seriously, which is why they have almost 0 scams pulled on them.
