Collation of Mini-Rank Suggestions

Well I guess I phrased it poorly. It's not necessarily American specific, they just aren't really sold that much in New Zealand (they do exist though and everyone is aware of them through seeing them occasionally/seeing in media). Everyone recognizes it easily from sporting events, so I think it's a viable option for a mini-rank.

 

Lol, i got the idea watching the lakers game earlier today..

These are used in all sports games in the US and im sure some other countries as well. Its a sports fan archetype. I feel its much more universal (atleast in its affiliation with all sports) than say a soccer ball or any one sports ball. Jack may not be from the states but he recognized it as a sports fan symbol immediately kinda affirming my belief thats its universally recognized.

I mean an olympics ring set would be cool too i guess but it just kinda says olympics to me, doesn't convey that someones a fan of sports.

Either way, im not a huge sports fan and will not be rocking the rank so idgaf. Just giving some input.

good ideas but whats the point of quizzing newcomers for a minirank? it'll mean nothing virtually so no support on that.

It's an incentive for them to read the rules and to understand them, it promotes safe trading techniques and would hopefully reduce the number of people that do get scammed.

 

I agree with you it is something that most defiantly should be read by newcomers if they want to even try to understand the market and sythe in general.

I just don't see a point on quizzing them for a mini rank.

I do like the idea of a quiz i guess but i don't think a minirank would justify them reading all of that.

maybe reward them in a different way.

 

i support on the rs minirank, other one doesn't seem needed for me though.

They should fix the glitch with the current mini ranks, I haven't received any of mine lol.

 

I think the newcomer rank could be a good incentive to make people post to achieve more ranks and thus increase the activity of the site.

Also makes new people feel a little special as they have something we all don't have.

 

i think an xbox rank would be awesome! like the xbox symbol or one with the three red rings.

Three red rings would be an insane banned symbol, the amount of rings shows your warning level, 1 = pardoned, 2 = Lcu, 3= banned. Only disadvantage is people will post a picture of them fully wrapped in a towel, just do they can say they did the overheat trick and they could be unbanned. Why are the fun ideas so easy to troll.

Towel trick is for noobs. It should be x-clamps for when you are pardoned and towel trick for LCU because thats some poor kid last ditch effort shit right there.

OT Seriously, RROD rank is a terrible idea. There should definitely be a runefag one though, since this site is lik 90% RS.
