When will it be legal...

id say 10 years before every state is legal

 

I think it will become more and more legal, this year(2013) I think at least 3 states will legalize it, then eventually more and more states, but I think there will be 1-10 states that will never legalize it.

And I honestly do not even see why it's illegal, I mean there is no proven deaths caused by Marijuana(other than car crashes, etc) unlike cigarettes, which there has been millions killed by it, and yet its legal.

 

The thing that i don't get is why the fuck are they wasting time legalizing it state by state when it's still illegal in the US...they need to just bust ass and get it legal state wide.

 

Because the DEA can still lock up producers and sellers, keeping the interests of the lobbyists. Also it would not be regulated so they would be keeping the drug cartels in business. They could make money off of jailing them as well.

 

Yeah but the government [DEA] wastes MILLIONS on trying to bust drug dealers, and wasting space in jail where scumbags need to be, not pot smoking, pot selling dealers.

They should make it like MoonShine, you can do it legally and get taxed, or you can do it illegally and make more money, but take the risk of getting busted.

That way they can still manage taxes on marijuana, they would make MILLIONS a year just by adding a small tax to those who choose to grow/distribute legally.

It makes total sence to do the above, yes?

I know. During the depression when they made alcohol legal it helped the economy so much! Just looking at weed in cali alone, medical marijuana has made about $14 billion per year.

 

Hence why it's the biggest cash crop in cali. if it were nation wide that shit would multiply, it might put some things out of business but if hemp is a better quality thing to make materials out of hell, let us grow, and have places to take the access shit that people don't use and make clothing n shit out of it.

 

It will never be completely legal, even in Canada or the US. It'll definitely be decriminalized all over, pretty soon.

Marijuana is a gateway drug. A lot of people that start off with using this drug end up seeking crazier highs leading too harder drugs. Marijuana is relaxing, but thats the point; it gives you a high. You smoked it for 6 months straight, why? Because it is mentally addictive, don't even try to say it isn't because I know a ton of people who feel the need to smoke on a daily basis.

I've had friends that smoked marijuana for a long period of time and have become significantly dumber and slower. Their short term memory also deteriorated.

Thread honestly is pointless, it was already answered with the first post. Same answers and responses are given; a complete loop. Frankly, I could care less if/when it is legalized worldwide as that has not stopped anyone from trying the drug.

Oh and not to mention i stopped INSTANTLY when i wanted to stop smoking i had in NO WAY a problem stopping smoking pot at all.

I've seen it, and it is basically on his own personal experience. Its his opinion to say it isn't, as it is mine to say that it is.


With marijuana comes the association of other drugs, therefore it becomes known as a gateway drug. Marijuana makes you feel mellow and chilled out, giving a person a false sense of security that drugs aren't bad, ultimately trying others. Most people you buy drugs from (in my experience) also have other drugs at their disposal, making it easier for one to start out with marijuana and then proceed to try others.
