Back after a long time, advice please!

Hey all. I've been a member of this forum for years now (from a different account of course, Justin121121, lost password). Anyway, I've been botting since the days of STSbot and Tbot for RSC. I think it's safe to say I've used just about every bot, and only suffered a few bans due to my own stupidity.

Anyway, since I haven't played in a while, I was looking for a general consensus on what the best bot out there is now. I've gotten mixed reviews from searching the forums. I'm looking for something to possibly do alching and pest control. I don't mind paying for a good quality bot either. I'd just prefer to not get banned as this will be on my main, but If it happens, oh well.

Any recommendations/advice would be greatly appreciated, I feel lost since I haven't been here in so long.

 

Powerbot, Simba and RiD are definitely the best/most popular running right now.

 

Thanks man. I've been a member of the powerbot forum for 3 years now, and definitely liked their bot. From what I've read here and on the RID forum, it appears RID is much more powerful, however when I try to register it says error

 

It really depends on what skill you are training. There are some good scripts on all bots. However, RiD is also the most expensive.

I've botted 4100 hours with RiD, and ~6000 hours with injection/reflection bots.

I've had over a dozen bans using injection/reflection bots, and 0 bans using RiD.

RiD is my #1 choice for my main; I wouldn't trust anything else on it.

 

Thanks mate. I'm looking to get 99 mage. Currently 80 at the moment. Too bad they don't have a alcher. Either way, It'll be on my main. I bot smart, and take breaks often, usually only bot when I'm doing homework and can watch. Kinda just paranoid they'll find out somehow even if I'm being extremely careful. I know it's a risk you have to take though.

 

Actually they do have a bot that does High Alching.

RiDiverse is capable of nearly any training method that doesn't move while standing at the bank chest (fletching/herblore/smithing/crafting/cooking/magic).

This includes methods like High Alchemy, or in higher levels, Mahogany Plank Making (140k exp an hour + profit).

There's never been a ban with RiDiverse, ever, since its creation almost 2 years ago.

They also have a Pest Control bot that will be re-released soon.

Rid requires a bit of reading up to add some skills to the RiDiverse bot, but it's the best quality. However, you can only run one of each bit per account, and it costs approx 6c/hr. Powerbot is free and paid, and licences last for 99 days (approx $5-15each). Easy to run and gets the job done. Some scripts allow multiple copies to be ran at once. Simba requires a bit of knowledge again, and anyone can post scripts for it so be careful with which you choose as some may have a lack of anti-ban software.

 

RiD is better but it requires some settings of windows changed so I went for PB. PB did the job just good enough.

 

I wouldnt recommend to bot now. I got banned for the first time in 2 years of botting. I used Powerbot and Epicbot mostly.

Meh, atleast I managed to sell 2 maxed accounts before I got perm banned on my third acc.

rsbots and epicbot are ones I've seen.if u decide to use them get pro scritps the free ones suck.

 

that's your problem. Powerbot/Epicbot are like magnets for bans.

Bot all you want with RiD; with the new 2.0 platform (completely different than the old one) botting is safer than it's ever been. I'm not even frightened or paranoid in the slightest to run RiD for 20-30 hours a time with an account that is worth over $1,000 USD (including the wealth).

I can minimize my bot, and have no annoying setbacks. The worst problem I have is when I want to restart my computer but my bot has been running for 30 hours and I don't want to turn it off lol.

Obviously do what you want, but if you choose RiD and set it up properly and get it working, you won't be disappointed, and worrying about bans will be a thing of the past.

 

What skill were you botting though? There are currently some skills which have higher ban rates than usual...

I've had better results from well written powerbot scripts. Timers agility script and a select few others function MUCH better than rid and seem more randomized even(while still being humanlike).

OP: Ignore the RiD(and probably Simba even though its a good program) hardcores and just use powerbot. Purchase VIP and use decent scripts/make sure that you're checking it every once and a while. Run your scripts to make sure they are working well and are humanlike before you use them, if its giving you a bad feeling just don't use it.

I've botted an almost 3.4K total all from powerbot with not so much as a warning from Jagex.

 

I've botted 6,000+ hours with injection/reflection bots (Powerbot included), and like I've said, I've had over a dozen bans.

The fact of the matter is that Jagex has been targeting many locations that are swarmed with PB users. Sure, they've only added LRC, Dung, QBD, and adbots to BotWatch, but that is just the beginning of their long list. Jagex will keep adding more locations at their discretion, without warning. Go to any of the of the bots that have been targeted with recent BotWatch additions and see the flood of bans. With Powerbot, it's only a matter of time and luck. With RiD, you don't need to rely on luck, and time isn't a factor. The fact of the matter is that BotWatch does not and cannot detect RiD, period. In my 10,000 hours of botting, I've learned it's best to not leave things to chance and luck, and using Powerbot is doing exactly that. Game-wide coverage of BotWatch is only a matter of time, and I'd rather not risk my time running out.
