Have you ever been suspended? If so, for how long?

Have you ever been permanently suspended? If so, why?

 

Yes, feels like every other week, I have a really bad raging problem, I can't stand when I do good and my team mates do horrible. I've been suspended probably 10+ times now. This ban was a 2 week ban, but keep in mind I've been banned many times before for the same reason. Ban is lifted tomorrow, and I have a feeling the next time I get banned it'll be a month.

 

Not really, I play on both east and west server and have never been suspended.

Never, and I'm not sure how my friend hasn't been suspended either.. He says racist comments every game and afks half his games.

 

First time I played I AFK'd out of my second game as I had to go and get the door and talk to the person, resulted in 3 day ban.

They must've all reported me or something...

 

Why do people think one case is going to get you banned? Riot will never ban you for one occasion. It's not reasonable to. You did more than just leave one game.

As for me, I've received two 2 week bans. Ever since my last ban 5 months ago, I rarely type in chat now.

When I was level 20 or so I got a 24 hour penalty for leaving.

You must of raged or did something else to be reported. You just don't get banned for leaving one game. I remember leaving 5 ranked games last season because AT&T has terrible internet and I didn't even get a 24 hour ban.

 

Had a couple short ones, all from being forced to leave games. I'd play for like three or four hours, and then suddenly my parents would walk in and tell me that I had to go somewhere/do something and it needed to be done that second. Happened a couple of times and temped :/

 

How many suspensions until a permanent one?

My last suspension duration was 14 days (second offense I think?).

Hoping the third isn't a permanent hahaha.

 

I've been permanently banned 3 times now. Generally after 14 days you're lucky to receive another temp. More than likely it would be perm.

Been perm'd 3 times... twice I was offered and Unban provided I went through the lvl 20 challenge (was something RIOT offered for perm banned players). Finished the challenge on two occasions only to get perm'd again lol. So hard to control my rage towards players who are absolutely useless, that never listen.

It annoys me how I never trolled/afked/left or anything, I was simply verbally abusive for the right reasons, yet I'd get the short end of the stick. Meh. Wish Riot put gameplay above community.

 

If you rage it causes dysfunction among the team, it usually results in wins if you're supportive and act as the leader, even with trash teammates.

 

That's what happens when other player's get the decision to ban or not ban you. This tribunal system is fuckin' retarded. Other player's should not have a say in wether we get banned or not.

 

Perm bans are overseen by Riot staff. Tribunals only hand out temp bans. I've spoken to the head of Riot Customer Support/Head of Account Suspensions on multiple occasions. He basically said that he would unban me over and over, but once you're perm banned your account becomes a high alert status, meaning if you were to get reported one or two times, and it reach a tribunal verdict, you'd be perm'd again.

Mid 2012 they changed their system, and basically revoked the possibility to acquire an unban if you were perm banned more than once.
