    temp mute on rs
    one queston guys, after how many temp mutes on rs will you recieve a perm mute? got a few temp mutes cause using a h/c bot^^

    I'm not 100% sure on this, go check your account status and when you get into the upper yellow zone stop for sure...

    I'm not sure if it's a number, as they expire etc, but just look at that safe-danger tower graph they have.

    I have an account with a good 4 temp mutes and all offences have expired, think it just depends on the severity of your offences and how many outstanding offences you have. Don't keep getting yourself muted if you value your account lol.

    Sometimes it's not even temp mutes that get perm mutes, I got banned for rwt on my main WAY back, and they perm muted every single account made from my ip.

    Back in 09 when i was a real idiot i got muted maybe twice a week and after about 100 mutes i got perm muted....

    I don't think it will ever result in a permanent mute, because temp-mutes all expire after a year. And if you ever do get perm-muted from multiple temp-mutes, you can't* get muted anymore because you can't use the chat. Then the only thing that can happen is the current temp-mutes will expire.

    I wouldn't worry about it. It would take a lot for it to accumulate enough to warrant a perm-mute, anyway.


    *I've gotten a mute for spamming quickchat while muted. But nothing happens because I was already muted. But the offense did show up.


    Interesting question, btw.

    haha yeah same thing happened to me^^ got muted, then 2 hours later i got "muted" again cause i was still spamming with qc^^

    it just depends on what your graph thing for your Perm-Mute would be. If it's not close to being at the top you are fine.
