First signature attempt

Been mucking about with PS lately, trying out stuff and made my first real attempt at a signature, I know it's a bit cheesy with the stars etc. but I just wanted to see how it went.

Honest opinions please, how can it be improved?

 

What did you do for the text? Looks like the repousse tool in CS5/6. The text itself I feel doesn't look that great, if you are going to do 3d text, make sure you use c4d or spend a decent amount of time with layer styles. The background with stars looks alright but it's just one stock right? I think you need to do some more to it to make it unique.

 

I liked the shadows effect makes it seem like a very high quality signature.

 

Wow that looks awesome. My only criticism is it looks too blended. The letters need to stand out from the background

 

I used 3-4 stocks for the background/foreground, I guess I'll try out some C4D and see how it goes, thanks.
