So... is Runescape really finished...

The game won't die any time soon. They just really need to get rid of bots.

Runescape will never be "finished" unless Jagex decide to shut down the company.

 

Jagex already did the worst, let's see how much more will they lose their time and effort for building already screwed game

 

Runescape will be around for at least another couple of years. It is in decline yes, but it isn't dead just yet.

 

It seems like Jagex are taking after games like Wow etc.. I quit a good few years ago but one of the reasons why i chose to play rs was the fact that it was different to games like Wow etc.

 

I liked it because it was simple, and yet complex at the same time.

 

The game has been in decline for a while, and people have been saying it's dead for years. Personally I quit ~ a year a go, but I doubt that the game is 'finished' as you put it.

Yeah, not going to happen. People have been botting for years, no anti bot measure can effectively stop ALL bots, color bots and stuff will last no matter what.

I'd love to see anti goldfarming measures taken though.
