What I have noticed about Marijuana.

Can you show source? Or is this just hear say.

As far as I'm aware there hasn't been any good research on this point.

 

Well if that's the case I'm far from that threshold.

 

I thought earlier this year they did trials in the UK and it showed those who where young and smoked a large amount were affected like he mentioned.

But rate at which it happens diminishes if a person smoked after the brain has been more fully developed. Not much harm though.

As to the idiot saying it kills brain cells, it actually has proven to help decrease or cease the growth of a cancer cell and actually stimulates the cell growth. Now that doesn't mean it makes you smarter but healthier.

Quite the opposite of killing brains cells.

 

the biggest reasons weed isnt legal in the usa.
1: big paper companies because hemp is a cheaper better way to make paper.
2. alcohol and cig companies, they believe they will lose mass amounts of constumers to mary jane.
3. ^^all the fucking money the give to lobby-ist to vote against it.

4. the usa hasnt figured out what their gonna do with everyone in jail for weed and the maximum way they can tax it.

 

This is all very true but there was also a massive push towards the beginning of the 20th century to clean up people's lives and they banned a whole bunch of stuff (including prohibition).

 

It's true, you can find the studies. Not to the extinct he said, smoking weed while the brain is still developing hampers the process, however, marijuana does promote brain cell growth, so it's fine later on in life, children simply shouldn't smoke though.

 

Isn't that burden on the people who make the claim, or am I missing something?

It really isn't, it has played a great part in the corruption of my generation.

Just curious what generation would that be?

 

That study bothers me just a little. I tried looking for the actual study and how it was conducted but all I could find was the amount of people involved and the ages tested.

I'd be interested in seeing if frequency of use and amount were considerations within the study.

 

TBH, I don't see why Marijuana is illegal other than for obvious reasons. It's not because of health risks, it's because the politicians are still planning ways to make a payday everyday with it, when they figure it out, they'll make it legal. Although, I don't do marijuana, my friend does it everyday and several times daily, I don't notice much different about him other than that he's more happier.

Well I'm gonna guess your generation is the 16-18 year old kids.
I'm 26 and enjoy to smoke, but I still hold down a full time job and I know my generation rarely smokes.

 

A kid that graduated last year at my school was apart of many groups, one of which was quiz bowl where he went to nationals in competing because this kid was an absolute genius. He openly told everyone about how he learned better when he was high. He now is going to college at a division one university which he received a full scholarship to, but yes, it sure "fucked up his life".

I'm surprised it hasn't been legalized in the UK yet.. They could have a bomb off the taxes. I personally wouldn't smoke it myself, as when I used to it made me pretty lazy and I used to always forget things. But I wouldn't mind if they did legalize it.

Cannabis is the world's oldest medicine, wich dates back to 2000 B.C. and was the most commonly prescribed pain reliever..
Its less toxic than aspirin, and less addictive than coffee.
There will probably be less gang wars and killings if cannabis gets decriminalized.. I believe that every substance of nature can be good for a purpose, but it should be researched much more... the plant itself.

The system brain washes you (in many ways), they are justifying the use of cigarettes and alcohol, while banning cannabis which never in the history killed anyone.
