Runescape Youtube Series

Hello everyone,

I know there are a lot of Runescape series on youtube at the moment with people trying to gain certain stats, wealth etc .. and I have been thinking I would like to make a series of my own documenting my progress.

I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions or thing's they would find interesting to watch ?

Watching someone play RuneScape on YouTube is pretty boring, maybe think of another topic.

 

Unless you are half as funny as MaxMoeFoe, i wouldn't recomend it. That guy is a legend, I can sit there and watch him play a game feeding fish. Watch some of his videos, if you are anything like him, you can do what you like and people will watch.

 

If you are funny and make jokes on your videos than sure go for it.

 

Watch RuneShark's series', they're pretty decent and would be good for ideas.

 

If you either did a comedy series or bossing guides etc, then you'd have a chance, but other than that RS youtube isn't that good of an idea.

 

Runescape Vids are really boring now... try making a RSMV... havent seen one in forever.

 

Would say pking/staking, but those suck now due to Jagex, another thing they've ruined. Try gambling vids, only interesting ones left, L.

 

I enjoy watching a good series that has something to do with observing a person's progress, or watching somebody achieve an interesting long term goal. I've also been really enjoying "Road to Max Cape" type series lately so I can pick up interesting training methods and stay motivated to max my account myself.

With the Evolution of Combat there is also a great need for many guides to be re-written or adjusted, and so perhaps you could find a niche there if you can create some good quality guides that are clear and informative.

Whatever you do, just try and do something that is slightly unique or put your own fun twist on it. Many of the big name Youtubers have unique series or weekly ideas that they have pursued and it has brought them much success (Weekly Rune Bars/Rap Battles, Friday Fan Mail, Sunday Stories etc etc). If commentaries are your thing, or if you think you have a good commentating voice, a sense of humor, or are good at articulating your thoughts and giving clear explanations, that might be something you can work into your videos.

Yeah, its all about coming up with a unique idea. xoomor or whatever his name is used to do "rushing the rushers" videos which I found super entertaining even though he wasn't a great commentator. Road to ____ and pk'ing commentaries are pretty unoriginal an it will be hard to grow your channel that way.
