What got you into Runescape?

A bit TL;DR, but just stop reading if you stop caring lolol

My cousin showed me whenever we visited my grandma. We'd use one of her ancient Windows 98 CRT monitor desktops. Back when GFX were oldschool; like 2003. Then I moved and a lot of my friends in 3rd - 5th grade played. What really got me hooked was members. I account shared with my neighbor who had members when I was in 4th grade (2004). He eventually quit and gave me the account. I moved again in 6th grade, and met some people who played; all of them much better than I was, but skill kept it interesting. I really got addicted when I started playing in 2007. I made the account I still have has my main today, and I'd play endless hours, but still sucked overall lol. I earned myself a permanent mute in 2008, and I barely played until 2009 when the 2nd chance appeals came out. I prepared my appeal for quite literally a week before sending it, as then it was my last chance. I got accepted and in Dec 2009, I found and used Powerbot, and moved onto other bots that has hooked me thus far.

 

This girl I have known and grew up with since childhood but would not call her as a friend introduced me and my best friend into it. My friend was able to quit after a year for good but not me. I only got hooked because of woodcutting and the only thing I did want was 99 woodcutting would even fake sick or skip skull to the point of truancy to stay home and play... Not sure why the hell I loved doing that but I was always at willows. Thanks alot Britney.
