The community is great, on average their is usually 2k online, the server has been out for approx a month and it's steadily increasing. The economy is excellent, and everyone is working together, communicating, it truly feels like the old runescape that we all once loved. The heart and soul of runescape is apparent and the game is balanced, it's almost an exact replicate of the old runescape.


Join now and love the game as much as everyone else, it truly is a work of art.

Yup one of the best servers ive ever witnessed, most servers are a fail but everyone whos joining which is steadily increasing is determined to start all over and it's going well so far.


te reason most other private servers fail is because they try to implements methods that aren't old RS... increased xp etc...

An exact replicate of the old Runescape, nothing is enhanced or altered and the community doing extremely well.

Wow, if only the flash box bar would move... it just loads and loads but nothing happens.

 

Apparently the xp rate is 1.5


so it's not a grind but still a challenge.

 

Moved to Private Servers

 

I can attest to prs06 being great. But its too crowded, constantly laggy and the staff is shit.

The owners (pompano) other server is alot better imo www.projectrsc.com . However, i play prs06 from time to time. I would like it alot more if they got a new dedicated server and got another world

I would like to offer my thoughts having played it for about 2 and a half weeks.

Don't be fooled by the name. The game looks like 2006 but it doesn't feel like 2006. The staff is absolutely corrupt and power abuse heavily. It was a terrible decision to allow people to play while the server was still in development. There are bugs everywhere from duping to the duel arena.

Botting is rampant. I actually don't care but if you're looking to avoid RuneScape to find a RSPS without botting, this isn't the one.

The biggest problem is the absolute corrupt nature of the staff. If you speak against the moderators/admins or voice a negative opinion, you are banned. Actually let me change that. You are IP banned. Yes, that's right. Say something bad = IP ban.

There seems to be a huge scandal each week. Most recently, Barrows was leaked exclusively to a select group of players. The administrators knew, didn't ban, and let them keep the items. After a community uproar, the administrators have decided to remove barrows items but it was too late. The group of players who exploited it had sold of barrows items for GP to normal players and now those players are screwed because barrows will be removed.

The administrators response was that they did not understand barrows. Apparently the owner and lead administrator had not played RS2 and have only played RSC. What the fuck?

There is abuse everywhere. Multi logging is legal which allows massive gp farming. Also because people are logging with multiple accounts at once, the server comes under heavy load and there is constant lag. It's not unusual to disconnect every 5 minutes.

This is quite possibly the worst RSPS I have played to date and my honest opinion is to avoid it like the plague. It was quite good when the original owner (David) was running it but since being taken over by Ollie, it is a dictatorship and if you step out of line, you're fucked.

 

The only problems I have noticed have been overpopulation and lag, there definitely needs to be a second if not also a third world added to the game. I did hear about the duping, but I remember they shut the server down for hours because of it and went back online once things were settled.

This server is not perfect, but it is definitely the best 2006 style remake out there.
