What scapegoat are Laker fans going to use now?

    "It's only the preseason."
    "It's Mike Brown's fault."
    "Nash is injured."
    "Pau is injured."
    "It's only the regular season."
    "We need time to gel."

The team was trash when they were assembled, and will be trash unless there are changes. Honestly, Mike D'Antoni sucks, and I should know considering I'm a Knicks fan.

They should have gotten Phil Jackson, just stupid..even if he wanted to take some regular season games off, he is a legend. To get D'antoni who is an absolute moron is a large cog in the ultimate downfall of the Lakers. Also, Kobe isn't what he once was. The points are there, the ability to win a game virtually alone is gone.

N FOR ALL U WHO THINK WE NEED AN EXCUSE FOR SUCKING, FUCK YOU. NO EXCUSES.. NO ENERGY HAS BEEN SHOWN. THAT WAS N EXCUSE BUT FUCK YOU

We have the talent.. fuck anyone who says we dont..

we have the bench.. anyone who says we dont just started watching basketball.. thinking you need an A+ bench to win. Steve Blake, Antwan Jamison, Jodie Meeks. and expect the lakers to make a move throughout the season.

Dwight Howard is hopefully injured n recovering little day by day.. (btw, i love the lakers, hate howard.. i hope he never wins a ring, so im in a little pickle..) hes just not a force down low.. cant complete easy lobs, pass between the big men.. hopefully howard n gasol form the chemistry gasol n bynum molded over the past 3-4 years.

steve nash is a genius. he will be dishing out dimes all day. one, if not THE, best shooter in the HISTORY of the nba. look at his numbers. although i am worried about whos coming off the bench. steve blake is deadly inconsistent.

KOBE FUCKING BRYANT IS A TRUE SCORER, SHOWING NO SIGNS OF SLOWING DOWN DUE TO AGE, FUCK ALL YALL IF YOU CANT REALIZE THIS.. OMG HES 34. OMG NASH IS 38. OMG FUCK U BITCH WE GON WIN...

Hey! Relaaaax lol. Kobe is still a true scorer, and with Nash's return tomorrow, I think the offense will be taken care of, Kobe doesn't have to play 41 minutes every night, doesn't have to facilitate and can actually play the 2 guard. I think Nash will complement Pau Gasol beautifully, since Pau is versatile who can pick, pop, or roll. I hope the Lakers turn it around and bring the championship back to L.A. <3

yes the minutes kobe is logging is ridiculous..

but i think pau is the most important player right now, besides kobe ofc. he needs to turn back time 2-3 years.

honestly the only doubts i have is d'antoni's system, howard, n our bench somewhat. (which is a lot to be worrying about, to be honest)

if only the organization submitted to Phil, i know we wouldnt need to worry, even with a shit record.

Don't get too excited, even the Heat lost to the Wizards... the Lakers starting five scored 97 of the 100 Lakers points, this goes to show how much of a depth issue they have, without one of their players it could have been a HUGE factor. I hate to pull this card, but there were a LOT of no calls for the Knicks who were completely outplaying the Lakers. They still have a lot of problems, Nash won't fix that, and they'll probably be a first round exit, if they make the playoffs.

the officiating went both ways in my opinion, for example the out of bounds that was clearly on carmelo. you can't really ever blame the refs, that's sad. yeah our depth is shitty as fuck, but Metta world peace coming off the bench should be a great thing for us. He will provide a spark, and hopefully that will ignite the rest of our bench.

Kobe bryant is just playing phenomenal, his 10 30+ games in a row is a record for his age. This guy is still in his prime, it's sad to see his supporting cast is ass though.

Yes, but that was after the D'Antoni out-of-bounds call, so that was more like payback for us. That call gave you momentum, and gave you four points you shouldn't have gotten. Metta isn't even a "bench player," he is technically one, but he gets starter minutes, and comes into the game after like two minutes. Replacing him in the starting lineup with some scrub doesn't make much of a difference. The Lakers's bench scored the least points out of all the teams last year, and it's even worse this year, and that will come to bite them in the ass when they face teams like the Clippers. There are serious issues in Lakerland, and they need to fix it.

He is playing insanely good, even though he playing isolations a lot.

    http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles.../lakers-effort-can-make-us-believers-just-yet

"We played very hard and I think we figured a few things out," Kobe Bryant said after he turned around his own game with 19 second-half points after scoring only eight in the first half. "We still have to straighten some things out on the defensive end, but I feel like we competed and that was very important."

This is a definite good sign, my fellow laker fans.

True, but I think before and after the all star break, they will start turning it on. Hopefully we can make at least 8th or 7th seed.
