Chargeback Help

Hello, i sold RSGP to someone for $30 paypal, they charged back the payment saying it was an unauthorized payment, can someone tell me what will happen?

 

You are very likely to lose the claim, which is unfortunate. However, there is always that chance that you could win it, but the chances with unauthorised claims unless you are a business paypal is that they won't listen to your excuses/theories. I used to say that if the I.P's matched for the trade and the dispute then surely it's the same person chatting shit, and occasionally that worked.

 

Is there anyway i can prove it? what would his excuse be from an unauthorized clame? and isnt it illegal?

 

You will lose the $$ and remain in negative balance until it is paid.

 

Is that defenite? and how long do i have till that happens?

 

Ask PayPal to check the I.P address that
- Filed the claim
- Sent the payment

If they match, they've got their scammer, if they don't, it was genuinely a stolen PP.

How long does it usally take to check to find out if i have won/lost the case?

 

could be open for around 11 days i think it is, and yes your chances of winning an unauthorized transaction disputed are very low.

 

PayPal might charge you a fee as well of 20 dollars.

I've had experiences on powerbot where a user would send the payment on a proxy, then log back into his PP and dispute the transaction...
