    RGIII or Andrew Luck?

Both of these fine gentlemen are a remarkable talent. Both of them are leading their teams to a playoff run respectively.

Who would you choose? RGIII? or Andrew Luck?

    RGIII or Andrew Luck?

I'd say Andrew Luck. He just has better fundamentals in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, RG3 is amazing at passing but he wants to run too quickly and the fact that Mike Shanahan is using him in option football a bit isn't helping (2 injuries).

Rg3 has now been injured 3 times this season. Michael Vick 2.0. At this rate he'll be dead before he retires from the NFL.

I hate when people compare Luck to RG3 or wilson. Luck in my opinion is a straight up scrub.
Let the stats speak for itself:

    Luck
    [IMG]
    RG3
    [IMG]
    Wilson
    [IMG]

So no, if anything Luck is one of the worst quarterbacks IMO. To say he's up to par with those 2 is laughable.

    tl;dr luck is shit

With that being said it is also effected by the status of his team. Granted, the redskins and seahawks didn't have a great 2011 season their team didn't go 2-14, not to mention the fact that the Colts did a major revamp of their team. At one time I believe on offense they were playing 7 rookies at once. I'm not going to say their WR are bad when they have Reggie Wayne but they don't have a ground game really. I wouldn't say any of their runningbacks are keepers and are definitely not in the league of Morris or Lynch. When you can't run the ball, passing it gets harder.

I was thinking of editing this thread and adding Russel Wilson to the conversation, hmm. He's proven that he's the real deal and can handle pressure situations [coming back from 14/20 Point blowouts]

    RGIII or Andrew Luck?

I'm going to go fucking apeshit on you now. You think Andrew Luck is one of the worst? Well that's funny because only the worst quarterbacks throw for 4000+ yards in their rookie season and Andrew Luck is the only rookie to pass 4000+ yards in their rookie season. Also, the Colts went 2 - 14, two and fucking fourteen. The Seahawks and Redskins both had better records than that, by a lot. Then this kid named Andrew gets drafted to the Colts and they go 11 - 5, better than the Redskins and the same record as the Seahawks. Plus, the Seahawks have one of the best defenses and Marshawn Lynch is one of the best backs in the league. The Redskins have Alfred Morris who is a unbelievable rookie. The Colts? They have Reggie Wayne and that's their only superstar besides Andrew Luck, their run game is shit and their defense is beyond horrible. Your going to tell me that Andrew Luck sucks after that? He came to a terrible team and took them to playoffs. He is also the only 1st round pick to make the playoffs let alone a winning record. RGIII can't slide for his life and will be near death when he retires, IF he doesn't die before then. Over this offseason teams will learn how to defend against Russel Wilson.

You clearly know nothing about who's better...

Personally I'm a bigger fan of RG3, Luck kinda got dropped in a way better spot but RG3 made more of an impact.

Dropped in a way better spot? He was put on a 2 - 14 team then turned them into a playoff team and your going to say RG3 had more of a impact?

I would go with RGIII because he can run and pass and before the injury he was beasting it for Washington.

Rofl you are so naive, Peyton Manning was out for 2011 which is why they played so shit, including that they hired a retired quarterback to play that season.

Luck didn't turn them into a playoff team, they were already a playoff team with a 40 year old quarterback. To even start to think that Luck turned them around is the utmost of stupidity and blind fanboyism.

Out of the last 6 years the colts have made the play-offs 5 times (when manning was out with the spinal shit was the only year they didn't make it), the redskins made it 2 times and hadn't made it in the last 4 years before RG3. The further back you go this decade the worse they look, not the colts though.

RG3 was dropped in a worse spot and turned the team around harder. Him fucking his ACL/MCL up kinda fucked the game up with Seattle but in the first quarter he was really putting it on them.

Looking at statistics and history proves that you are just a mindless nuthugging fanboy with little to know actual grip with what is occurring and I hereby discredit any more of your posts on this subject.

Lol, I clearly know nothing? Yeah, the best quarterbacks throw for 4000 + yards with 18 interceptions(LOL). Not to mention, he needs to stop eating popcorn before games because he's not even a scrambling qb like RG3 or Wilson and still has more fumbles than them. Compare that to Wilson or RG3's numbers. To beat Luck's garbage statistics, they needed to throw 800 more yards with less than ~10 picks each.

Who gives a shit about what their record was? Like Annex said, if peyton manning wasn't injured, I'm pretty sure they would have done better than 2-14....

Also, to say he's the only quarterback drafted in the first round is completely false; rg3 made the playoffs. Even though Russell Wilson wasn't a first round pick, he made the playoffs. To also say that the colts are the only team with a winning record is laughable as well.

The sad thing about Andrew Luck is that in the off season, no teams will need to learn how to defend him; he's already shit, LOL.
