Negative Balance [ PAYPAL ]

hey guys.. so i have a negative balance on my paypal of -32$. It happened because of a chargeback after i sold some rsgp on sythe. My paypal account has fake info and i am not sure what i should do. Should i make it to 0 or just leave it? Not like they are gonna track my ip right?

yes i did read that thread but my case is a bit different because my paypal acc has fake info.

Just wait until you're going to receive payment again. Until then they can't do anything. Even though it's fake info, is it really worth the risk for 32$?

Id say psy it back, if you just want to be a good person it would really show character, if you dont intend on using it anymore then I guess not but did you report the chargeback ?

 

You should make a report here of the scammer, if the deal was on Sythe.

 

i did report the chargeback on paypal but they didnt do anythin ..

Yeh , but i don't have proof.. since he went first and i thought he's legit but later found to have charge backed a number of people..anyways :L

 

Id pay it back, due to the fact thats the kind of person i am though.

 

Honestly, if you can't pay it back and it has fake info, either try getting funds added to negate it or just leave it alone until they make a fuss (collections emails, etc...). I was mischarged $500 once and since.I had no proof except for MSN logs (this was a trusted member last years who is now banned), and it took me 4 months of fighting PayPal to get my money back.

But again, in your situation, those are really the only two options you have :/

 

It depends, if you have fake name/email BUT you have your personal credit card I would just pay the money back, paypal can really ruin your bank credit if they feel like it for ignoring the negative balance.

 

i dont have a credit card or any card attached to my paypal account.

 

This leaves you with what you morally stand since by not paying, you don't lose out much on paypal's part.

It's a grey area but I do recommend you to resolve your negative balance.

 

just dont pay paypal back. unless you have a static ip

 

what will static ip do?

 

It can get you in trouble when you ever want to make a new paypal account.
