Looking to start a Gambling FC in such a way that it will turn viral in the RS universe. I've got everything sorted out, but I'm in need of a few to get this show on the road. Anyone who joins from Sythe will be allotted a high rank.

Not ever going to happen.
Clans are far to established now for a new clan to even come close to touching them.
You would need seriously famous hosts and an insane bank to pull it off. It's also near impossible to get a seriously famous host into your clans because they are bound to be in one of the major clans.

Take a look at 'Apple' fc, really nice name, wealthy ranks (no trouble with big pots), huge bank himself and invested a lot of his own bank and time into launching his clan. And his clan is still not thought of as being anywhere near as big as the major clans after what, 10-20b of drops/giveaways he has hosted etc.

 

Don't bother, you will fail.

Good luck on this, but as others have said, you will need MASSIVE amounts of cash to get this kicked off and famous ranks which will be difficult to achieve.

I tried to start a gambling CC in 2010, and I've helped try and start 2 since, and with the amount of fame that Fishy/DD/Cora etc have, you don't stand a chance. You had to get in there early to even try and make an impact on the ways that it works.

 

Anyone can start a FC if they have enough money to pay the advertisers and afford the drop parties.

'Simply' have community of legit hosts with, lets say a minimum of 200m each, who are online nearly every day for long periods of time, and advertising spam bots all over the populated areas constantly promoting your clans name.

Also hosting regular drop parties helps advertise- a decent drop party is at least 2m, and your going to want to do those several times a day.

If you have the time and gp to do this I wish you all the best, but it is nearly impossible it will turn viral. DD, Cora and Fishy already have reputations for being legit which only comes with time.

Only the biggest no lifers prevail here. I hope your willing to ditch afk.

 

I don't know if what your striving for is possible.

You can throw billions and billions at the clan, advertising, famous hosts etc, and it will not be nearly as big as DD/Smokin elite/Cora etc.

If you do find famous people to host, they will be the ones getting all the wages, not you or other hosts, honestly I think 10B is too small a budget, so if your a millionaire irl and don't mind spending a small fortune, good luck but I don't think it will be as big as you want.

 

Thanks for all of the replies. I completely understand that any FC made today will not get to a Fishy or DD status without the help of a small fortune (IRL).

But I'm still going to attempt to run a successful gambling fc on our current homeworld...it hasn't been overrun by any major clan yet and has 1k+ users on in the evenings / late afternoons.
