Powerbot

So, I have been away from the RS botting scene for almost a year now and I just have a few questions on Powerbot to get me back up to speed with what's happening right now (preferably answered by experienced botters):

How does it compare in performance to other bots?

Are the majority of free or paid scripts stable enough to run themselves, or do they require babysitting?

Are you still able to easily bot 10+ accounts?

 

I think you're limited to 1 or 2 accounts only unless you get sponsorship which is quite pricey (or maybe VIP which is less pricey).
There are a few ways around this I've heard, like having multiple windows accounts and running one PB on each. Search on Sythe to find out, threads have been made about it.

I'd say its one of the most popular bots right now, defiantly the best public injection/reflection bot out there.

As for individual scripts, just read the dedicated script thread for each to get an idea how how popular it is/well it works. The ones with most views/posts are generally better.

much better then any of the other bots I've tried and extremely easy to use.

None of them require babysitting but some of the free script can only run for 6hrs, as they cannot log themself in after the 6hrs limit.

The thing of you need vip or sponser is false I'm a free account (used to be Vip) and I can run as many bots as I want. Btw vip is 8$ a month sponser is a one time payment of 149.99$

I would say it perhaps has a ranger variety of scripts than other botting sites, due to probably having more scripters. However sites such as SIMBA also have very good bots which use colour and are just as good if not a bit safer! However Powerbot has a good range of scripts just be sure to read comments.

Most scripts are stable just be sure to read recent comments about the script checking that there are no major bugs, but the vast majority are fun for long bot runs.

Are you still able to easily bot 10+ accounts?
If you do not have VIP or Sponsor you can only have:

• 1 tab (1 bot)
• A maximum of 3 scripts

So you would have to buy VIP or sponsor to run numerous bots.

Paid scripts are stable enough to run by themselves.

Depends on your computer obviously but I think it may be glitchy if you go with more than 5 at a time, my own thoughts though.

 

Imo pbot is the best out there at this time.

Powerbots paid scripts are rsbots.net back to life. You get charged for them again, and I wouldn't be surprised if they went under sometime and then you could end up paying for AutoSoulWarsPro a third time. They've mainly just bumped the prices up and sold them on a different server, so any product rights are gone. Boo

 

Powerbot is the most expensive since you premium usage lasts 99 days instead of lifetime. Currently using the premium Soul Wars script for Slayer and it's actually more effective with EoC which says a lot for a combat-based minigame type of bot. Honestly, any skills RID supports would be my suggestion though. Simba is also quite effective, the only skill that I've taken note to not bot whatsoever is Dungeoneering (unless you prefer to babysit Ultradung). Their current recommendation with that too is to stay under 6-7 hours for safety's sake. Whatever you do decide to choose, follow RID's guidelines because there's no sense of suiciding and increasing your chances for a ban. RID > Powerbot > Simba > No Thanks is my personal perspective (no offence iJava, make more scripts then we'll talk botting).

It has the most functionality of any bot on the market. Some other bots like simba are more "stable" lasting through many updates and seem to run for longer because of how simple they are, but while powerbot scripts are running they are far superior. They can automate pretty impressive tasks.

Free scripts really depend, some really amazing ones like shade crafter etc..some ones that clearly are outdated.

Paid scripts are usually pretty great =]

Erm..not sure what the requirements are for this on pb. I know that there are ways around the limit even if you aren't allowed.

 

I'm currently waiting for the new client to fix the bank pin and 6 hour logout timer issue.

Well imo powerbot is the best, they have alot more to bots to choose from and imo they have less of a chance of getting banned than other bots

I run free bots all the time, most of the free bots I run are almost perfect and do not fail on me, but there are some bots they defiantly do need babysitting

But the one problem I have with powerbot is the 6 hour log-in limit, They say you can get around it but I cant figure it out.

 

I think the only way to get around it is to wait for a client update. Have they fixed the bank pin already?

 

its just the fastest and super easy to use. You could try simba, but scripts are limited and not that good. Plus its a huge pain in the ass to get it started and running properly.
