    Question.... Theft

Good luck with that dude, my only advice here is that if you keep with that "crew" you won't get any far. But you seem to like that crew too much to have the will to leave.

Just re-read what you wrote a couple times and hopefully you will understand how idiot you are being for staying with that crew/supporting people who robs.

    Question.... Theft

I don't agree with how you think, but I understand a little bit of where you're coming from. Everyone on here does need to give more realistic advice, whether it's morally wrong or not. Obviously you're not going to rat out a close friend. He clearly isn't going to give the money back, so there really isn't any point in trying to get him to. Telling her who did it isn't going to accomplish anything either and you're only risking possibly putting your friend in danger. You offered to pay her back and she didn't take it. She obviously doesn't care about the money and is more interested in getting back at him. The thing to do in this situation is nothing because there is nothing you can do.

Unfortunately a lot of people steal any chance they get. I've dealt with it a lot and I've even had friends steal from me. I had a gun pulled on me by two people I had known for nearly 10 years just for 2 ounces of beaster. I also had my phone stolen from me once and honestly that pissed me off a lot more. I would much rather someone rob me for drugs because that's a risk you have to be willing to take when you sell. Drugs also make people do things they normally wouldn't, which doesn't excuse it, but it does explain it. Some asshole stealing something from me when I'm not looking is a lot worse in my eyes, especially if it's my phone. I can tell you now that if you're out stealing every chance you get, then it's just going to get worse the more you do it. Stealing is actually a serious addiction and it's hard to quit. It will eventually catch up with you one way or another. You'll either end up in jail or will steal from the wrong person. I've seen and experienced it many times before, so I'm not just talking out of my ass. Shit, even if you aren't doing anything wrong, you could still get in trouble just for being around someone who is. I've done time just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and not ratting someone out. Luckily, they reimbursed the money it cost me, but still.

I'm not expecting to convince you to quit, but just know that everything comes to an end one way or another. You can only hope it's by choice. If you continue looking for trouble, then just expect consequences. Even the luckiest people have it coming. You can't escape the inevitable, so just be ready.

    Question.... Theft

First I just wonder what type of friend would steal from your friend. Yeah, it's hard here too. We all work for minimum wage if we can get a job, but my friends don't steal from each and every person they could dupe and the would go doubly so if I introduced them to someone I considered my friend. If you have no respect for the girl balls up and tell her that, but if you actually give a damn then do something about. People like that deserve everything they have coming to them, jail, a beating, or worse.

tl;dr: Shit is hard here, but all my friends aren't hoodrats that steal from everyone they can. You make the decision.

Edit: What Dim said is true, it'll come back to bite you.

    Question.... Theft

This. Your friend is a jackass in the first place for stealing from another of your friends. Why should your friendship with someone else have to suffer because your other friend is a jackass?

This. Also to all of you saying you don't need a friend that steals from your other friends, you don't need a friend that steals at all.

    Question.... Theft

Most of you really don't get it and are just repeating the same obvious advice, which the OP clearly isn't going to do. His friend isn't going to pay the money back. Yes, I would first try to get him to, but it's probably not going to happen from the way the OP explained it. I don't care how things work around your group, I would still be pissed at him and would lecture him for what he did. It was a dick move and disrespectful towards you for stealing from a friend of yours that you invited over.

Telling her who did it isn't going to accomplish anything either. She doesn't care about the money and really only wants to get even. Yeah I doubt a 16 year old girl would do much of anything, but I doubt you're willing to risk it. Your friend does need to be taught a lesson though. He won't quit stealing until he does. His time will come though and it'll probably be a lot worse than a little 16 year old girl making threats.

If you care at all about keeping this girl as a friend, then I really only see one possible option. Telling her who did it definitely won't fix things. She still isn't going to want to be around you when all your friends are thieves. What I would try doing is pay her the money back yourself, but say you got it back from your friend. Tell her that you gave your friend a hard time until he agreed to hand it over. Say that he doesn't want her to know it was him, but that he's very sorry and it won't happen again. This could work, but it's still likely she won't want anything to do with you or your friends after this. I know I wouldn't.

    Question.... Theft

Oh so you are stupid, ignorant, and most likely to be dead or in jail within 5 years. I think she did right to fuck off then, as most people would have probably beat the shit out of your friend and if you jumped in stabbed you till you bled to death.

Wise words here. Hopefully OP takes the time to read it.

Dont do anything here, as you will just get yourself in trouble. Honestly you're in the wrong way with that people. As they say "You can judge a man by the company he keeps".
