    cold weather affecting my body?

so in california, the weather here gets real cold this month.

I think something is wrong with my (2) foot and (2) hands. That being said, sometimes my left hand would hurt so much without any reason less than my right hand. When I would close my hand, theres like a puffy feeling or something. I look at it and it feels numb or swollen. As of now, my left hand is more swollen than my right? i do know that its not normal during these weather conditions. IF you were to squeee one of my fingers, it would hurt so much.

Now, for my foot is a way different story and I feel like its going to happen again last year. The same season from last year, and now I have it again this year.
It's like when you wake up, you get on your feet and start walking anywhere. My heels hurt for no reason whenever I take a step. It feels like its so swollen or numb. I could still walk but its just I have to deal with the pain every time.

This only happens during really cold weather but I think its because i'm not too warm enough?

The swelling or puffy feeling can happen just from going from the cold outside to the warmth inside, causing them to go "puffy" as you explained.

Your feet sound a little worse though. I don't think it's as serious as frostbite unless you're spending long durations in snow or freezing conditions.

The pain on my heel is very mild. It feels the same exact way as my finger/hands but it gets warmer, this completely goes away and never haunts me again but I wanna know how to treat this lolz

Well you could just be experiencing major cold symptoms. Your bodies immune system is producing a load of anti-bodies, Anti bodies produce histamines that dilate blood vessels. These chemicals then are released into your veins and are then attracted to your muscles. The reason you ache is the chemicals sometimes hits nerves in your body (your muscles) and cause then to somewhat contract more than usual. The contraction causes the ache in your muscles. If your muscles contract more than usual this produces lactic acid the lactic acid produces aching by triggering pain receptors.

Now about the swelling, I cant actually tell you why your swelling but I can tell you the basics. Basically whenever your body swells it collects body fluids in one place also tissue in a single place in your body. Or when blood is not circulating. Your body can also swell by staying in one place for a long period of time. As to why yours only happens during the winter I have no clue.

Go check out a local physician you never know man your body might have developed something.

I've had the same thing happen to my fingers a few years ago, during winter as well. The swelling was fluids heaping up in them because they got inflamed (because of the cold).

When you put pressure on the skin, does it stay white for a while? Are your fingers/feet red as well, apart from the swelling?

It's annoying, but harmless usually. One of my fingers got inflamed at the joint though, and the inflammation slowly worked its way up to the skin, where it gave me a sore. I took some pills for that. So yea, go see a doctor if it gets worse.

Well they are just normal color of the hand which is pink but if I apply a little pressure, it will turn white then it goes away after a few short seconds. Like I said, one hand has it but the other doesn't so I can compare. My hand just has that "puffy" feeling where if you close your hands, you'll feel some pressure but the pain is very mild. Think of it as someone squeezing your hand lol. I can tell that one hand is slightly a bit fatter then the other.

I think the worse it gets when my hands / feets gets tingling where it has that itchy feeling? I once had to wake it up to both my feet were tingling as fuck and they were annoying. After the next day, it disappeared? O.O
