    best computer for botting?

I am going to buy a desktop computer for my office soon so I was wondering what the best one would be to get for botting? I am going to spend 500-700$ on a desktop computer and would like to be able to run as many bots as I can.

mate you need much more than a 2gb ram computer you need 8 cores and 16gb ram and then you officially are in the bot farm.

    best computer for botting?

No, that's a rip-off. Build your own, it's like legos and requires no foreknowledge. Any i7 is better than an AMD 8-core for botting, choose whichever i7 you can afford with the unlocked 'K' so you can overclock it if you want, which would require buying a better cooling unit than you get with stock. 8-16gb of ram, and whichever parts you prefer for the rest.

Ask for some help on choosing and buying the parts in the technology section; get them on newegg.

it would also be cheaper when you buy the parts and let the computer build from you'r local computer store than buying an finish pc of the internet

it's easy to build a computer, i also build mine myself, take a lookout at the internet for tuts etc.

There's no recommending what to buy to get started, go ask for help on picking the parts in the technology section. 2600k, 2700k, or 3770k will get you around 10 names. A 3930k will get you about 15.

It's much cheaper buying the parts and putting it together, you take a case, put the PSU in it, screw in the motherboard and play connect the parts, it's extremely easy and instructions come with it. First time for a 10 year old child would take maybe 2-4 hours, but afterwards most people can build comps in about 20 minutes. It's a simple process like I previously stated.

I meant that you just choose the parts that work together and buy all of them on newegg. The 2660k, 2700k, and 3770k are intel i7 processors, same with the 3930k but better and they can run 7-12 names, while the 3930k can run 12-20. That also depends on how much you overclock it.
    $200-$400 cpu
$100 motherboard (choose an inexpsenive one for OC'ing)
    $60 16gb ram
    $40-$80 700w psu
    $90-$120 1tb hdd
I would wait until the new AMD gpus come out and get the HD 8850 for $200 (it's as good as current $400 nvidias)
    $30 cpu cooler
    $40-$100 case
    $20 dvd drive
(sound card if you want - only worth it over onboard if you have high quality headphones $100+)

An alternative solution is renting a vps or dedicated server. I would never buy a desktop solely for botting unless I was 100% on the idea.

Well, I never bothered responding since I didn't think KMJT was serious. He said he needed a computer for his office, so.. Besides that, if you plan on botting longer than 6 months then a VPS is pointless, since VPS fees will equate the computer cost in that time, and heck you could even sell your computer later for the money back.

If you wanted the computer strictly for botting you can build one for $400.

    CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115095&Tpk=2700k

    Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157335
    ($55)
    cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

    ($68)
    Tower: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153
    ($50)

HDD: Depends on what you'll be using the computer for.
GPU: Up to you if you want one for gaming, it has an onboard. $90-$600
Power Supply: 500W if you don't plan on turning it into a gaming comp, otherwise 700w $30-$80

That build allows for OC'ing and you'll be able to run a decent amount of names.

Alternatively you can swap out the 2700k for an fx-8150 and OC it, but it would only handle 10 if you got up to say 4.5 GHz on an OC.

    best computer for botting?

You should really run some numbers about this first.
GoldFarming and the price of gold is at an all time low right now.

First, figure out a (few) methods to make decent-good gp/hr on RS.
Then figure out what skills/stats you will need.
Then buy or macro the accounts yourself, you'll need somewhere around AT LEAST 30+ if you want to make good/decent money/if you want to buy a computer to dedicate to it.
Then figure out how much gp/USD per hour you will be making.
Figure out how long it will take to cover your computer costs/break even point.
Also factor in how much time it will take from your day to monitor/manage all of the accounts. Any time RS updates (depending on what bot you're using) or the bot gets stuck, you will have to manually log in and fix it.
You'll also need to walk them all over to get proper items, equipment, transfer money, etc.

It's not fun, it's not pretty, it's not for everyone.
