Animated Charmander

Keep the flaming to a minimum. I am just now learning about animations, pretty simple one here lol, but I was proud of myself!

 

There should be 0 flaming here.

Any who its a decent start I guess, at least you are more familiar with the concept of using key frames, etc. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

 

Thanks man! Yeah I'm still learning I would never claim I was a pro lol, I hope I can eventually get good enough to start making sigs for people around here. Been checking out as many tutorials as possible

 

Not many people ask for animated sigs in the marketplace. You should look at using cinema 4d for making text as that's all the craze at the moment.

 

Good for a start, try looking into some more advanced tutorials,etc. Maybe find a good tutor KUIU

What program did you use for this? I have no idea about graphics and would like to learn

 

Probably done in Photoshop, you can make animations via timeline or by frames.

 

What version of photoshop?

 

I have Cs6 with which you can do, but I recall being able to do this in cs3, which makes me believe 4 + 5 was also possible.


Back on topic, its a good start xD.

 

I haven't used CS3 but CS4 on wards is definitely capable of this.

 

I'm using CS3, mainly because it seems to run so much more smooth on my PC than CS6, so we know from 3 forward you can do it.

 

The earlier versions of PS are a lot easier (in my opinion) to use, with 90% of the features that CS6 has.

Onto your charmander, not bad for a start, personally i've never done any animated stuff like this, but I imagine that it's quite tough. Not bad.

 

As above mentions the earlier versions of photoshop are pretty much easier and beginner friendly however i'm more of a graphics person than an animator however keep up the goodwork looks good

animations take a lot of time (at least for me) it would be better with a lot more key frames and smaller movement. maybe a spark or two would look cool
