What ruined runescape for you?(if anything)

The return of Free Trade and Wilderness killed it for me.

eoc, the other things were tolerable imo

 

The first time I bought gold ruined runescape completely, if takes away all the sense of achievement in the game.

 

Honestly it was rwt.
As much as rwt made the game for me, I only enjoyed playing when I was wealthy and could host big etc, but I valued the money irl more and sold it all so no longer enjoyed rs with no money.

 

Similar for me, I started selling stuff like upgrades for gold a few weeks ago and i've lost the will to play the game properly, I just chuck away 10s of millions of GP as if it's nothing.

 

SOF and other microtransations, used to respect Jagex for not allowing them and actually stopping rwt as much as they could.
They don't give a fuck now, and the only reason they ban rwters any more is to stop the rwters making money as well, so fuck them.

 

Getting max total ruined it for me, it is a rather boring game now. However, none of the updates "ruined" it for me, if you can't adapt to change then idk why you would play a game like runescape that gets updates monthly, go play xbox yo.
