Laptop vs Tablet Vs Smartphone ~ Andriod/Windows8/Apple

What are your opinions, please vote in the poll and comment on which you prefer, why you prefer it and more specifically what brand/product do you like the best.

 

I'll go for laptop windows since there is no pc option. I have always used windows so I am more familiar with it. I don't think I'm ever changing it.

 

I want to change to Mac for school, and just seems cleaner/simpler.

 

Don't do it. You can build a PC that performs the same, if not better than a mac for a fraction of the cost. Macs no longer have all of that special software that they used to, and now you're paying an extra $1000 to have an apple product.

OT:
Laptop with windows. You can't game on a tablet or do graphics for the most part.

 

I don't like windows 8 on non-touch laptops, FWIW. But if I had to make one choice out of all of them, windows laptop FTW. I currently own a lot of computing devices since I'm constantly upgrading to stay up-to-date for work, and the one thing I rely on the most is my laptops. having upgraded through five different laptops in the last 2 years...I rely on them for nearly everything involving work and entertainment when out of town.

If I had to choose a tablet, I'd choose the windows tablet. Ipad's are not a proper business tool IMO, their OS and features are too cheesy. Android tablets would take a cloooose second here

If i had to pick a phone, it'd be the windows phone devices. Having used everything under the sun as far as phone OS's go, the best one on this list goes to windows. It's the only one that has the things I need on a daily basis withing the fastest reach, and is completely compatible with all windows formats. The best Phone OS's of all time go to Symbian(many don't like it bc they're too stupid to figure its advantages out) and Maemo/Meego(also not for your average idiot, but AMAZING if you have used linux)

 

I would love to change to Mac, but simply can't afford it, I'm ok with windows atm but have never tried any apple computers, hope to eventually do so.

 

I love my windows 8 laptop. So im voting a windows laptop.

 

Macs are not worth their price point and tablets are just gimmicky toys.

I prefer my laptop (windows 7) for most of my mobile needs.

 

I didn't vote because I like more than one option. Tablet for on the go, laptop for class or coffee shop type situations, and smartphone for every other time. None apple.

 

Nexus 7, Nexus 4 for everyday use. Might get a Note II to replace both though.

 

I've recently bought a MacBook Air, having been bored of Windows I'd wanted to try OS X and to be honest, I find it much better for everyday use. The only thing it really lacks is games, but then again, I don't really play any ever since I've quit RS. As for now, however, I'm probably going to sell it and build a Hackintosh. I simply prefer to use my iPad as the note-taking device that I need while at the university.

 

Smartphone android and in some days I will get my S3 <3

 

I am definitely a fan of Android Smartphones and Tablets. Currently rocking a Samsung Note 10.1 Tablet and a Samsung Note 2 4G!

This. Each of those devices has a specific use, but they're all useful.

 

Personally I'll stay with Windows laptop, is the software I'm used to and has advantages when it comes to compare it to the Mac, is lower on price and has more compatibility options. In my opinion Mac is mostly looks, although if we talk about mobile devices such as Ipod and Ipad, I've got give it credit, they have worked very well for me unlike android that keept crashing all the time.

 

I think i'll go for anything which is fast, can browse the net, and is easy to use, so just a windows laptop I think

 

I really think Win8 is ugly as all hell. Wouldn't get a tab. with it. I'll probably stick to apple devices.
