Are pures still alive?

Are pures still good at pking or worse? Because a maxed 1 def pure is only 102cmb? Will they own or not?

 

With no def they don't get alot of hp bonus', def is essential in EOC.

 

Well they can do a lot of damage compared to their levels and still PK somewhat effectively -- yet 10-30 defense is still the best (30 and you get turmoil) cause you have low combat still and high damage output.

In terms of actually playing the game? They are dead, can't PvM worth a shit

 

Defence is very important with EOC in-terms of HP bonus, if you want to PvM, they are useless. 30 def pures are pretty good PKing.

Pking is pretty much dead compared to pre eoc but as a level 104 max pure(3def for anticipation) I still fight purrs in wildy on occasion

 

They need defence to be able to do well in EoC, as higher defence = more lifepoints.
