I'm sure there are a lot of people that keep their gp in the form of rares to avoid wipes. Jagex can wipe 15b; they can't wipe a party hat set unless you have multiple.

People scam for $25 and they'll scam for $1000, if we're going to stop selling PHAT sales, just stop the market completely. So many gold sellers buy in bulk, meaning they buy phats and other rares instead of gold. Because, as we all know, maxed cash is 2417m and after that, you use rares instead of gold.

i see what your saying, but people just need trade safer always use someone you trust to MM/OMM this would never happen so no support im afraid even if that user is a staff member if you have not crossed there path and spoke to them if the trade was for $1000s i wouldnt use him just because his a mod i would use someone who i could say i am friends/cool with.

Stop using anecdotal evidence. If people trade safer, than this won't happen. Increments is one way, but seriously 1-2 examples does not prompt a rule change. I would feel fine trading a phat set to Arcus and waiting for the WU payment for 3-5 days.

There are PLENTY of legit phat buyers/sellers and your several examples do not prompt a banning of selling gold in stacks of more than 500m at a time.
