Think i could do it? Opening a RSGP shop :S

Well i'm about to go into my 2nd term of college and im getting extremely short on money - sure i could get a job, but... eh ...

Anyway, i thought if i invested $1000 to buy RSGP and resell i could make a decent profit, ( i'm not expecting anything outstanding) say $200 a month? More would be nice.

Would i be able to buy 3bil for .30 per mil? then resell for .35?
( depending on market prices, i would be aiming to buy BULK for 3-5 cents cheaper then a plausible sale price)
And then resell this 3 bil in 2 weeks time?

Yes i know it will take some time buying the gold seeing as i don't have any experience/ " vouches"
as well as being hard to sell it, but with middlemans and enough time itll start to speed up... i hope

Well personally I think that it is possible however you have to take into account that this will take a longish time period to do and you would need to be online quite a bit to sell to other people. You also have to be wary in the RSGP business of setback such as account bans or lurers.

Personally my advice is just go get another job as literally No rs job will pay the same as a real job unless you can gain a lot of trust on sythe.

 

Get a part time job working 1-2 days a week, you would then spend a lot less time on the computer and it works out a lot easier.

If you have the will, you will end up achieving a good shop.

I would recommend to first donate around 100-300$ to sythe so people have more faith on you on transactions, then you will be able to purchase some quantities and sell faster. Like any company, you will first start slowly but you will start going up with the time

 

There are many trusted people selling gold on here and it would be really hard to start from 0 vouches. Maybe you could start a questing service, and while u get more known you can share your business with someone else who is trusted aswell and that way u would have a lot more business. Or if you have rs accounts sell those for some quick cash, buy bots and repeat.

 

If you are already short on cash I wouldn't. A wipe would destroy you.

 

There's many ways to start gaining vouches without a gold shop to help get you started. For example, Christmas just passed and you could have some gifts you didn't want that you could sell and gain vouches that way. Once you earn at least a bit of trust, you can make a gold shop and it could work out.

 

You stated that you're short on cash. It's probably not the best idea to invest a large sum of your money into this business in case you happened to get banned or wiped. Then you'd be at a rather large loss. I'd recommend investing and trying to gold farm for a bit with the help of bots. Then invest a little into buying RSGP if you can access it at a profitable cost. Slowly test out the business and start to sell. Grow with the profit you make.

 

A part time job irl would work best for your situation. You wouldn't have to deal with chargebacks,etc.

 

I wouldn't start off with 1000$ Maybe buy 100M and build up?

Or But 3b, and risk it. Stake. Try flip that 1k into 2k.

 

Jagex has been extremely aggressive with wipes lately, and the market's fairly volatile anymore. You should have joined the flipping game back when prices were $1/m, there was bank to be made then. Now days, between resets and the low prices, it's a fair bit more difficult.

 

Do not waste your time, with the whipes, and the market your better of just getting a part time job or creating websites and flipping domains etc.

 

You needed to start flipping Gp earlier as told. However you can still invest your cash in running bots. Very intensive work but low risk since you only need to invest once with auths ect.

Set your mind to it mate, of course it's possible, you gotta chase it though, not wait for it to come to you.

 

Your probably better off running a bot farm with the amount of cash you have to invest.

Nowadays since the market crashed you're pretty much screwed. Back when the market was really high, at $1/M you could make a lot, but now you need to sell a LOT of gold to make bank, and with the demand being lower than the supply, it's really hard to sell a load. You've also got to build a rep, which is possibly the hardest bit.
