returning to rs

I'm planning to get back to RS after a year. Any major updates I should know about? Anything new with dung? Combat? Moneymaking? Botting? I'm planning to bot in f2p for a few months before getting membs, any new training techniques?

 

One major one is EoC, look out for that.

Yeah don't bot dung, tons of bans there. Keep an eye on the cheating section here they are rolling out a new botwatch system all over the place that's causing mass bans. Everything is easy to catch up on I returned 3 months ago after a couple of years. Feel free to add me ingame - Humpo19. Can help you out with any questions you have.

 

You now get 2 free weeks of membership once you sign up so you can use those to train faster on members servers, and than upgrade.

 

Also, Firemaking and Runecrafting can now be trained the "afk-style" (RC is more like semi-afk)

 

I've just returned since eoc come out, and the hotkeys make the game alot better to play, good for training skills also.

 

I wouldn't advise you to return, EoC has ruined runescape.

I wouldn't go on what anyone say's, It's personal opinion. You might like it. I hated it to begin with, Now i enjoy using it. It's great advantage for skilling. Give it a shot.

No more special attacks.
RC is now AFKable.
Bans for botting are more frequent in Dung.
