Edit: How about you just permanently make it 2009 and below members? Anyone above that time never be allowed to enter regardless of how time passes or post count increases, that idea is 50x better.

Go start your own forum and that's how active it will be. Although there are a fair few really active members that meets it, only someone like you would want to post in a section with only 5-10 active members. Why? You're different.

3 years sounds good Sythe, even though I don't meet it yet, it can always be reduced to 2 if activity isn't what was expected.

 

3+ years or Jiwi sounds about right.

Kind of branching off this idea Sythe, but what about a lounge for ex staff? I feel like this could be beneficial for the current staff to consult ex staff regarding site issues/feedback and would have a more practical application then users who either shitposted their way to the minimum postcount for this new lounge or simply waited it out for the year requirement.

Obviously the ex staff wouldn't have any real power but it'd be nice to have a lounge for us to use as a perk for serving as staff at one time for the site.

 

This is actually a really good idea. Ex mods have the experience.
