    So,

I'm new to Sythe, but want to offer my Runescape services here. I am going to make a thread design, to keep it professional, and I'm just wondering what size is recommended for these forums, and what is the colour code here :)

    Kind regards,
    Cameron

Hi Cameron, welcome to sythe! Depends however you want it, I would say 800x1400 pixels :)

    Thanks for the welcome :)

It is much appreciated. I was just wondering because I don't want it to be too wide and having to zoom out or scroll across the page to see the whole layout.

I am rather new to GFX, so I am assuming that the 800 pixels is width?

Yes, whenever someone gives you dimensions width always comes first. Mine is 900 px but 800 px is a decent size. Much bigger and people with small screens will get a sideways scroll bar.

Thanks for your help! I thought width came first, just wanted to make sure :p

Cool to see another New Zealander on here too!

Edit: Also, would you happen to know the colour code for this forum? :p

Not off the top of my head (cba opening photoshop). A quick way to check though is to take a screenshot of it, saving it, opening it in photoshop and then using the eye dropper tool on it to get it. It's not really necessary though in all honesty, just make the background transparent.

There's a few New Zealanders on here actually. Nice to see you too.
