    Getting Pulled Over Question

So where here if you are following someone and you hit the back of them its automatically your fault. So if a cop was trying to pull you over and you slam on your brakes and the cop hits you, would it still be the cops fault?

I think it still would be the cop's fault. But I think he could give you a ticket for reclace driving

The police are authorised to do what they're like of course without abusing their powers.

I'd say it depends on the situation, if you blatantly slammed your brakes on purpose in order to cause a collision with the cop car and that it could be proved you where responsible - it would probably be a different story. Otherwise, it's generally the person who hit's the other who get's the instant blame.

If they've got the blue lights on, then it doesn't count as their fault. If they haven't, same as always it's the person who rear-ended the cars fault. I think it's a shit rule tbh, as if someone overtakes me and then slams their brakes on, it's my fault. This is fucking BS.
