    Windows Evaluation

    Hey

Most of you have seen the evaluation system Windows has for the computer specs, it evaluates the hardware from 1,0 to 7,9.

The "problem" is, that when I had a Intel HD 4000 graphics card, Windows gave a 6,3 or something like that.

Now that I have a NVidia GT 630 4GB it first had a 5,9 and now that I updated the driver is 4,1 o_O

Anyone knows why is this happening?

It's not a huuuge problem, it's just a number lol, but I'm curious

Have you disabled your onboard graphics in your BIOS?

    I uninstalled the driver.

    That's what I heard.

But IDK if it's the right thing.

I wouldn't uninstall the driver, I would leave it installed, but simply disable the onboard graphics in bios. FWIW windows index is NOT a reliable benchmark. I would run HWINFO64 or GPU-Z and make sure everything is working up-to-spec. Ensure that, when under load, your GPU is running at the proper frequencies. Also ensure that the port that you have the card installed in is using the PCI-Express x16 interface, instead of something like x1 or x2.

I installed it in the 16x port.

The thing is that i do not know how to disable it in the bios.

Other thing is that the pc detects the gt 630 and no the intel 4000.

So I don't know what could it be.

It also says in the cpu-z that the memory of the card is 2047 megabytes, but i know it's 4gb, idk if it's the same memory or what.

Download HWinfo 64 and post screenies of the main screen(expand the video adapter tab, and click on the geforce card so it pulls up the hardware description), the summary screen, and the sensors screen.
expand everything so that each screenie shows as much as possible. This will help give me a better idea of what's going on inside your computer.

Hey, I downloaded HWinfo 64 and it says all the specs as I bought them.

This must be a windows problem maybe, or it may be also cuz there are much better cards like the 680
