Hello I have very simple question.

I was scammed when trading via PA. Are there any ways to send a complaint to them EXCEPT their Live chat? Some working e-mail address or something.

    Thank you very much.

Well I'm new to PlayerAuctions and this was my 1st trade. I sold 200M RSGP there. Some guy messaged me on Skype that he wants to buy and after he said he had done the order I received an order e-mail from [email protected], which looked trusted for me as I found it in "contact us" section straight on PlayerAuctions.com. After I handled him the money he stopped to communicate and my offer stayed on PA as if nobody bought it.

Well sorry to hear that, yes there are ways to be scammed with player auctions not actually the site but phishing sites, what might have happend to you is you were caught by a phishing site. Whenever you got that email from player auctions that was actually the other person using his phishing site, whenever you loaded up the link that said contact us you were actually contacting the person you were giving the gold to. Whenever you handed him the money the contact stopped because he got what he wanted.

    Ways to prevent this:

1.Always type in your web adress: www.playerauctions.com
2.Get a web security that blocks phishing sites.
3.If you have a problem always get the email from the direct sites not any off sites.
    4. Also make sure you have the money to the right person.

Or if it was the proper playerauctions email then you might have to take it up with customer support or there IRC it usually takes about 2 days for them to respond by email but im sure you can get some answers from there, also re view your order processed maybe there is a mistake on your hand or he has not confirmed he got the gold yet.

Do you have any pending orders ?
Does your order still show its on the market ?

Under "contact us" on the playerauctions website there is an email that you can reach them at.

Did you give the rsgp to the person with the correct username? If you have video of you trading the person with the buyers username listed on the website then you can just dispute the transaction and get your money.

Sorry to hear this happened, it's a horrible feeling being scammed :(.

I agree with Nerfed, I think you visited a phising site. Did you click a URL that was in the email? Probably said something like "You can view this email here". Or did you type in the URL yourself?

Again, sorry to hear this happened. Be extra, extra cautious in the future.

I'm 100% sure it was playerauctions.com and the e-mail was sent from [email protected]. And there's no link in the e-mail.

But when I tried to solve this with guys in their Live chat, they wanted some 6-digit order ID first. In that mail was no 6-digit number.

You have to check your email mate, or confirm the buyers email or your account email. Inform the chat representative of the situation.

Before delivering any order you have to make sure the order is actually pending delivery on the site. Anyone can lie and say they ordered when they didn't. Each order would have a six digit ID (which is why live chat asked you for it, so they can go to the order you are referring to). Unless an actual order was created on the site (you can find your orders on the site), you got scammed and the email was fake. If you already gave him 200m there is nothing you can do to get it back.

I have been scammed 1b+ via PA in the past.
make sure that you communicate through PA and Video the trade you have made with the RSN noted on the Order which you can find under Active orders.

Also PA emails normally don't contain any information about the order itself. it only says that the status of an order has been updated.
You must have had a phishing email. did they know your PA email address?
Did you receive the PA email in your junk box?

Yes it was my PA mail and I received it as an usual message. The e-mail contained order details including buyers PA nickname so I had idea to look up him but PA seems not to offer looking up its players. I just didn't know it's possible to make identical e-mail address.

And to communicate through PA, what do you mean? Just message only via PA messaging system and don't use any messenger? Also..do I get e-mail from PA when someone sends me message there?

    Thanks :)

You do get an email after a message on PA but it doesnt contain the message itself. the email just says that you have received a new message on PA.

Emails are only notifications. if you want to complete an order then that needs tobe done at PA website.
    my account -> active orders
you should see an order there. wait till the payment is verified then click on it to see details like RSN of the buyer.

If you have more questions add me on skype: bernardrs.rs

and yes, it is possible to make emails look like they came from [email protected]
thats how you got scammed probably :(

It's pretty easy to make it look like the email came from [email protected]. I get phishing emails like that quite often tbh. Sorry for your loss.

It's most likely sent by an e-mail spoofer.
