E-books! Which do you like?

Hey guys

I'm pretty curious what kind of E-books you guys buy. (both here or anywhere else)
Do you have a favorite subject / genre?
And the last question: What would be an E-book that you'd pay for here on Sythe for example?

People say I'm good in writing E-books / guides so I'm kind of thinking about writing one. Just checking out the demand and where its at lol.

I've honestly never felt compelled to buy an e-book.

So maybe a free e-book on why e-books are awesome?

 

I could give you a few reasons for E-books

1. They are cheaper than normal books, on average.
2. They are often written by 'normal people' so you aren't giving away money to a big company. The big part is for the author himself.
3. E-books are delivered instant.
4. The environment! You save tree's
5. No carrying around heavy books, only the reader.
6. Quick finding & browsing through an E-book.

I wouldn't pay for lousy, un-edited fan fiction. The reason people pay a premium for books is that they're generally edited and thoroughly reviewed and rejected if they're crap.

 

If you're excellent at writing, why don't you write eBooks for other people who need them done?

 

My ebay money making ebook is the best in da hood.

 

They're not as exciting as reading a real book in my opinion.

So if you'd buy an E-book, about which subject would it be than?

Edit: I'm especially good with virtual machines, Operating Systems etc, but I doubt there's a market for that lol ^^

 

The only ebooks someone would buy on here would be a guide.

I personally only plan on reading one ebook as no others have caught my eye, and this is by a professional author who actively writes novels so I know it will be semi decent. It's titled Perfect Shadow.

Yeah, as others have said, I don't know what it is about a real book but I just find it better, i've tried e-books before and it's just not the same for me.

 

I never bought an e-book, I still use normal books to read. I will consider buying and reading an e-book sometime in the future and if I like it I might as well continue with those.

 

I enjoy ebooks over physical books, I've got my nook whose battery lasts 3 days and I have 4000 books at my disposal at any time. It's convenient to say the least.

 

I prefer physical copies, you just can't beat real ink and paper and stuff.

 

Why do you guys enjoy reading? Just curious, I find it boring as shit, I've read about 10 books in my life, mainly captain underpants and roald doahl, though I read the newspaper most days.

I don't think of myself as dumb its just boring to me.

 

I like e-books of sexual orientation. I also study ebooks related with animals and sci-fi fiction. But, I prefer one as I said previously. I like to read fatansy story about escorts like London Escorts,Watford Escorts etc.

 

You can gather your knowledge from other ways than books too. Never reading books doesn't make you dumber or something

I prefer a paper over a e-book. I tried reading Treasure Island on e-book the other day and couldn't do it =\ Looking at a screen kinda bugs my eyes after a bit.

 

I have a kindle and have read numerous books on it, I like the ebook format and the way it works but I wouldn't read some kind of amateur novel. The OP is a little confusing in the point that you're asking if anyone wants to write an ebook you wrote, not which format is preferential.

Someone said they don't read, and I find that a shame. You can get a lot of knowledge from TV but you'll never get more than the surface from television alone. There are a lot of things that television doesn't even cover. Reading is something that is falling by the way side sadly.

 

I don't get what you mean by

or do you mean ..."wants to read an ebook you wrote.."?
And along the way I was interested about the whole subject and how people thought about it.

And you can learn through other channels than TV/books too mate ^^
