    Personal Information

    I think it's a good idea to leave the punishment up to the person whose information was leaked (if they even want to press charges), but I do think they should have the option to request a full month's ban for the leaking

    In theory everyone is treated the same. Staff might get more leniency since they may interpret the rules in such a way that they are not breaking them and since that is a part of their job we can't go ape shit on them for it.
    Govind posting information and whoever that was is an example because he didn't think he was doing anything incorrect and since he is an admin he can make those decisions. In the end the staff as a group disagreed but we aren't going to turn around and punish Govind for something that he had a different opinion about since part of his job as a staff member is to make judgement about rules.

    That was part of the reason I like the case by case aspect. If someone doesn't care, we do nothing. If they do but its stupid and minor we can do very little. If its god awful and the person cares we can do a lot.
